    I'm a glock dealer and armorer, I wear glock merchandise every day. I have tons of glock related stuff. You will not catch me carrying a glock. I have 3 daggers, and in my professional opinion as a Glock armorer and dealer, the dagger is better in every way. The trigger is better, the grip texture and angle is better. It's accurate, cheap and very well made. I've never had a single malfunction or issue with any of my daggers. On top of all that, it's a way more attractive looking firearm than the glock.

    @@Ballistik_Infadel53 gawsh guys, you've really convinced me that your 300$ pistol thats only been produced for 2 years by a company with a massive reputation for horrible quality control problems, who's entire market is gun owners who are either too cheap or don't know any better, and who is somehow charging almost half of what the guy they're copying is charging, is some how better than the OEM manufacturer who has been making them for decades and who has a solid reputation as a manufacturer who produces reliable pistols.. next ill go out and buy a highpoint. It amazes me how loyal people get to their piece of crap cheap garbage guns, just because it saved them a few bucks

  • @xSimplyx233

    @rickyspanish9002 you do realize that Philip and myself are both gunsmiths and have extensive experience with all different types of guns, right? We probably handle more firearms in a week than you do in 10 years, more than most people do their entire lives. The point of this conversation is not that Glocks aren't reliable or don't work, it's more that they are a gun that should have never been more than $300 MSRP because you can buy literally any other gun and experience similar reliability but then also get way more options than a Glock for similar often less money. I have a custom zifiri precision build on a p80 that whenever I show it to a glock fan boy, they almost literally start drooling, and the funny thing is I built it for less than a stock G19 costs. And to drive the point a little further Hipoint makes a better trigger than Glock, there's no reason why a piece of shit $150 gun should have a better trigger than the most popular $600 handgun in the market that's been around since the 80s. Glock is a waste of time and a waste of money. And once again, this is coming from me, a trained and lisenced Glock armorer and gunsmith.

  • @rickyspanish9002

    @rickyspanish9002

    11 ай бұрын

    @@xSimplyx233 Making your argument with an appeal to authority fallacy? Not a strong move. While I'm sure you and phillip spend lots of time handling each other's "guns", that seems to be the majority of your assertion, that you know alot about firearms, but the more you talk, the more it becomes obvious how little you actually know about the subject, and I don't need to implore my credentials to demonstrate how mistaken you are; I can just use facts. So you're telling me I can buy literally any other gun and get similar performance for less? Literally any gun? So like a Bersa? Or a SCCY? Or Raven Arms? Or Sterling? Or Ruger? Or Tarus? Which of these stellar gun companies is going to deliver a product that will give me the same performance as a glock? How about Glock knock offs that are "just the same if not better" like the S&W Sigma, SD9, M&P, or the Springfield XD? Why haven't they replaced glock in the hands of law enforcement, military, etc? Why is glock not only the most popular pistol in the world, but used almost universally by tier one SF groups and 3 letter agencies? The reason is simple; they're better. They are more reliable for a longer time and higher round count and handle more abuse. Are there better pistols? Sure. But not for the price. Glock is by far has the best cost to performance ratio. Which of the above mentioned pistols has more options than a glock? Its been the most popular weapon on the market for decades, there only pistol that can compete with it for availability of aftermarket parts, holsters, accessories, upgrades, etc. is a 1911. And what are you comparing it to? A pistol recently released from a company that has earned a poor reputation for quality that has already had major issues/recalls, to include the barrels being shipped with bad rifling/pitted, locking block problems, pin drift, dead trigger issues, and the mags falling out? This is worth saving $200 measly bucks to you? This is what you suggest to your customers? And to state the trigger on a highpoint is better? What a joke.. Maybe you work on guns, but do you actually shoot them? While the glock trigger isn't the best, the PSAs have a S&W style hinged trigger, which are total garbage. Dont take my word for it, PSA literally admits it on their website. "The PSA Custom Dagger Blade Trigger System by Wheaton Arms T is one of the most important aftermarket parts you can install to improve the performance of the Palmetto State Armory Dagger series pistol. No more spongy, mushy feeling trigger. No more plastic trigger to flex. No more plastic safety to wear out and potentially fail. No more long, annoying pre-travel before the shot breaks. The PSA Dagger Blade Trigger System by Wheaton Arms has addressed all of these issues and more." Note the especially important part "plastic safety to wear out and potentially fail" .. They are literally telling you that you need to sink an additional 180$ (plus gunsmithing for those that can't do it themselves) because the trigger is not only crap, but crucial safety features built into the trigger will eventually fail. It begs the question, if they expect that to wear out and fail, what else is going to fail when you need it most? I dont know what could be a more damaging admission. Now, all the sudden, that "stupidly overpriced" Glock is only $20 more. Considering you get 2 extra mags with the glock, you're actually coming out even, except of course, one is made by a company with a reputation of being ultra reliable in the toughest circumstances that has been earned over decades of use, and the other company copied the first companies design, has only been making it for 2 years, has a reputation for poor QC and cheap and inconsistent products. That and they literally tell you its stock gun is going to fail. I get that your budget conscious and that gunsmiths don't make alot of money, but I said it before, I'll say it again. You get what you pay for.... But tell me more about how the Dagger is better and all about your gunsmithing qualifications...

    Spend 320$ on 2 lowers and an upper, spend 290$ on an advantage arms .22lr conversion upper, you have a Glock 19 and a Glock 19 in .22lr for 610$. Pretty neat imo. (My math might be wrong lmao, I’m going off PSA’s website)

    Bought a new G23 4th gen for $409 few years back now. Bought a sig p224 years and years ago for $1080… I don’t wanna loose my sig so it’s a wall ornament now adays… it’s also heavy as hell anymore and it jammed a lot… think I melted the barrel off that one. The load ramp is razor sharp and you won’t hit a house whilst standing in it…

    PSA's QC can be really hit or miss. I had several buddies that got their AK's and found excessive wear on areas an AK shouldn't be wearing. PSA took a while on it but eventually fixed it. Rumor is every other batch is like that. Their Sabre may or may not see this practice too. AAC however I support however I can.
