Call your credit card and tell them to do a charge back.

Ups driver tried to steal mine. Ordered it from Amazon, the day it was to show he he pulls in my drive way when I walk out he drives off fast af and I get a notification that my package is delayed. I waited 20 minutes and then it updated to my package was lost. I called ups and they tried to give me bullshit I went to my local ups distribution and walked in they said that he hasn't returned so I told them I'd wait. I waited and no drivers pulled in, was at only entrance. 10 minutes later they came out and got me said he's arrived with it. The box was brand new ups brand box not even folded correctly and no label. I asked don't I need to sign and was told the driver signed for it when he went for the delivery. I opened the box in the car and the ps box itself had been opened had dirt residue under the sticker but the system had not been touched along with the controller and cables.

People have been reporting in the US that they have caught the drivers having open boxes in their delivery vans intentionally taking the game systems out and swapping them and having to use clear tape to put back on the top of the box other than the Amazon tape.

It should have being delayed until they had appropriate stock levels anyway

This is why you never preorder stuff from online only retailers. Always safer to preorder from companies that have stores. Amazon doesn't care they're laughing all the way to the bank. Its really sad.

I ordered mine 3/9/21 from GameStop $782 bundle my. FedEx was delivery and I was so scared it was going to get stolen and I was kinda pissed that they didn’t even ask for signature. Just tossed it on my steps, no knock no nothing. FedEx sucks I’ve had SOOO many issues with them.

Im in Australia as well. I got my ps5 in public as a present and i had to physically hold it because 3 people tried to steal it

I secured the bag on launch day just to have FedEx to not even deliver my console..😡 I'm still patiently waiting 🤬🤦🏽‍♂️

I feel you man I had the same problem that almost happen to me smh 🤦‍♂️ this FedEx delivery driver was trying to be slick and claim the package was delivered on my notification from my cellphone 📱 so I immediately called FedEx to report that driver, then the driver finally came but without my PS5 🤬 An he told me that it was delivered and I call him out saying you didn’t deliver it at my doorstep, so I demand him to show me where he put my package for the PS5 bundle I paid $800 dollars smh 🤦‍♂️ He put it on the side of my apartment building trying to steal it! I got my PS5 an never 👎 did the required signature. When they have you required signature make sure you have someone at your house or take off of work. You don’t want these FedEx assholes to get away with this! This was my second PS5 I gave to a family member who paid me a $100 dollars more than $800 dollar bundle, which total $900 dollars👍 My first PS5 on launch day, I got lucky with Target local pickup, which is the absolute best option to get a PS5 when you can order online and get it in the store! It’s better than delivery 🚚 and every retailer should use that strategy like Target 🎯 I have to thank KZreadr Jake Randall for helping people like me secure a PS5 during his live stream on launch day! I am never trusting delivery for launch consoles again! It has to say local pickup or if I can wait in line to secure a launch console! F!!! GameStop for using FedEx a horrible carrier that has a history of giving people damage items or stealing people’s stuff. I had a bad experience with them and that’s why I prefer to walk-in the store!

I stayed home the whole day waiting for my console. Best Buy sent me an alert stating that my PS5 and Demon Souls was delivered and I went to my front door and nothing! I spent hours explaining to UPS that there was no package and Best Buy. The proof of delivery had no pic just a time stamp. Everything was stolen and that was during launch. I still have yet to receive my PS5. I don’t know when Best Buy is gonna have stock back in and I’m still pissed that my PS5 is gone.

Sadly enough it’s not just limited to Ps5. Customers packages are being stolen in transit and Amazon isn’t really doing much about it. $400 worth of my packages apparently disappeared while in transit and aside from the refund that I had to fight for; the only form of compensation offered was a $5 credit towards my next Amazon purchase.

They need to enact a 0 tolerance policy and not just fire these people they need to call the cops and set examples, never being able to get a good job again due to a criminal record tends to be a good deterrent.

What's scary is that since the pandemic started it's been happening with gun parts and ammunition.... ALOT....

When I was a truck driver if the Parcel has ATL you can leave it take a photo BUT it has too have ATL and that will NOT HAPPEN on high end electronic and almost always requires a phone call too both your day operations manager and the client and in the warehouse or store side of things when you pick up an item the weight must match the consignment note and it must me scanned for deliver and a signature is almost always required and Less there is an ATL so this way both the Business and drive are covered 99% of the time a business can always pinpoint the exact driver who had that exact package

This is completely sad ppl save money and work hard to get a ps5/XSX & they get robbed🤦

In major cities you know better than to leave packages on your door. Unless you have the Ring camera door bell or some real nosey neighbors that look out for you. You walk down the street during the day and see hella boxes opened all up and down the street. If you don't have camera footage there's nothing the police can do. Its between you and the company you purchased from.

Everyone should stop blaming fedex or any other delivery com. It’s Sony that doesn’t give a f about it. They could’ve done something better

Amazon always replaced the item if it is damaged, lost, or stolen. In this case, they are most likely attempting to find who stole the consoles. Those people will be caught, because every package can be tracked, and they will know who handled each package and at what time. I know because I am a driver. The problem here is, there are no more consoles to send out as replacements until Sony and Microsoft sends out more. Amazon has to wait on the vendor to be able to replace the order.

Its simple hiw they get away with it a friend orders 10 packs of cand food , during the ride the driver switches the food and the ps5 and delivers the to the adres , thats how the drivers do their "work " and get awy with it

This happened to me I got a waffle maker I called Amazon but I was given a full refund my box also didn't have the original Amazon black tape it had clear tape I have no idea what's going on I don't know if it's the delivery drivers are what but why would a FedEx or UPS driver risk their job making 75k a year for a $500 console it doesn't make sense

It sounds like a fucking joke. Amazon is one of the biggest companies in the world, yet cant afford to hire drivers at a good salary. Plus just brush costumers off with a fucking 10% discount instead of a full refund for a pretty expensive order. One thing is having to fight these asshole scalpers, but when your purchase arent even secured after you revieved your order confirmation is just insane. This console release have really shown the nasty and rotten side of some people.

Bro 1stly sorry to hear about your dad he died by the sound of it far too young. 2ndly yeah the uk Amazon is doing this and they had said they were looking into it like 2 weeks ago but I guess not, it's also Up in Canada Amazon as well there was a case a mother got one for her son's 16th birthday and it showed up on her doorstep but now this did have a happy ending I think. Well. The driver was filmed exchanging stand she took the tape to Amazon cause apparently the have a building there and he was fired so I'm assuming she got it back. I got my ps5 two weeks ago today and it was through direct and this shit infuriates me
