John, finding this video was very helpful. As a casual gamer, I’ve always had issues with my pictures, lag and overall performance. Changing my DNS server was the best thing I could have ever done, not only is everything running much smoother, but my internet connection is actually quite faster because of it. Woah nicely done my guy, I was stuck at 1.3mbps, used your Google one, dropped down to 660kbps, Used the cloudflare one and the internet bumped up to around 5.4mbps and it sawed through the download time from 18 to 10, While not exactly revolutionary it is somewhat handy, I thank you

My ping would find matches at 200ms and I found one at 84 for the first time ever. I can’t believe more people don’t know about this. Thank you! I hope it continues to work like this. I have a portable router with a prepaid hotspot plan, as there are no wifi serverice providers that cover my area (I live in the middle of nowhere lol) is this method fallible for my current situation? Isaiah This is an interesting question. Changing the DNS during a download should not make an impact and should simply pause the download. Once an internet connection is re-established it should continue to download from where it left off

I cannot believe how long it took just to download this game, and get it going. I have never experienced something like this, EVER! It never used to be like this....we have been waiting since 4 o’clock to play this game and it is now midnight and says 5 hours left! Ughhhh

Bro you deadass fixed my lag issues on the games i play. Such as gta and cod whenever i play those i tend to lag out of lobbies or experienced lag in game. And when i did this method no lag whatsoever.

I've tried both but for me, sticking with the easy wifi is the fastest for me. I really appreciate the hope but it may just be my provider or my router that is already allowing the best connection by doing the easy hook up method.

That's good! Sometimes the default ISP connection is the best. The most important part is that we are continually testing and retesting these new connection inputs and finding the one that best suits our PSN online setup!
