Here is a quick and simple demonstration video on how to replace the battery in your PS4 controller. The first step is to remove the 4 small Philips screws in each of the corners on the back side. Then use your pry tool to split the two halves apart. Once you have that apart, you can go ahead and remove the battery. When removing the battery, be sure to pull the adaptor STRIGHT UP and not side to side. You will run the risk of damaging your controller.
