I have a ps4 slim with 1 sec blod. Directly below the APU there are some caps (maybe 30 40 ish) in one group they are arranged horizontally and other vertically. I'm getting 1 ohm resistance to ground on one set and 25ohms on the other. Anyway you can check and tell i dont have any proper repair shop in my country.

Do you mind sharing the program you installed on your BGA machine to safely remove and install the chip?

This board is thick, it can take a lot of heat, and i mean a lot, thats why you need preheater.

Isn’t it possible to use hot air station to remove the APU ? And if not I’d like someone to explain why

generally speaking, you need all the solder joints to heat up the same amount at the same time.. so just using a reflow gun wouldnt give you enough heat .. when you move it around the different areas would likely cool down since its a large surface area. might be possible though

That moment in life when you buy all this stuff to make videos to realise you should of saved the money ;) dont worry bud we have all been there

You can never get rid of cigarette smell completely, ask me how i know 😢 when ebay doesn’t say a console or other item is from a smoke free house, it almost always turns out to be from a heavy smoker.

What a waste when you do all this job and then it don't work because reballing is not permanent fix I wish that there is machine that puts solder balls by it self because its so difficult to wait all day putting those balls in places 😭 I use HONTON R690 I REFLOW AND IT STAYS LONG TIMD
