Yeah same here tv was fully operational with other channels as well showed black screen I thought it was my hdmi cable because my ps4 gets a little warm so I switched the side and everything and all I had to do was unplug the tv 😐

3 years later and i still use ur vids lol

I literally just plugged out the power that the TV and the PS4 was connected to and then powered it back on again and I’m back up and running.appreciate the video

You just saved me from bringing my PS4 to repairs or buying a new PS4. Thank you so very much! Didn't know about safe mode at all. Now I know, thank you👍🏻 I guess my PS4 just hung itself up trying to change from a high resolution to normal resolution after exiting a game🤦🏻‍♂️

I tried everything that all these websites suggested nothing works I watched your video and followed your instructions on unplugging my TV and plugging it back in and my PS4 works better than ever now! It just goes straight back to the same problem after restarting to change resolution. Someone please help. *edit* this might help someone else so i'll put it here. But if you another tv that does work, go into settings under system i believe. There's an option for HDCP or something like that, un check it. Toggle it OFF and redo the safe mode start up and change resolution.

I need help, I turn my PS4 on, it loads the PlayStation symbol on my tv then after about 10/15 secs it will disappear and my PS4 will automatically turn off after about a minute, it does this every time I turn it on, I honestly don’t know what to do, I’m no good when it comes to stuff like this, any one know how to help? I’d appreciate it. I did have problems yesterday with my PS4, it told me to connect a usb and update a file for reinstallation which I had to do and lost most of my stuff, then today when I tried to rebuild data base coz modern warfare is unplayable for me it ended up doing this to me (🔝) any one help please, thanks

Wow, this was the weirdest ever, I was about to give up and it was pure luck that I found this! What fixed my issue after trying all kinds of safe modes and not having luck (with just a blank screen and what looked like a signal issue from my hdmi) was to just turn my actual tv off and on again! Had this issue myself. Quit working on Older TV with HDMI but would work on newer monitor. While plugged into newer monitor I went to: Settings > Sound and Screen > RGB settings > Set it to "Limited" > Then plugged back into older 1080p TV HDMI port > (RGB setting reset itself back to Automatic) and it had no more problems. Before I would get a flickering screen, snow, or no signal at all. Hope this helps.

I had this it turned out to be my TV as I turned the HDMI on the TV to HDR, as I had the PC connected too. The PC was used a few times, the resolution was odd. The PS4 worked a few times then the PS4 went black screen, I tried the safe mode and everything else to try, then I turned the HDMI on the to back to standard from enhanced (HDR) it came back right away. This TV is going soon. I've had enough

this did not work for me if anyone has a suggestion I will take it .Here is what is happening It comes on and the ps that is white is in the middle then it goes black and just sits there then after like 3 min it turns off.😢😢Please help me
