I think this is the heaviest problem goes to mine.. 3 beeps after 8 or 9 seconds. Have idea for that?. . My case first is yload, i clean all dust and resamble it back, still red light, than i re paste thermal of both ic, still 3 beep red light after 5 second green, and than add more tantalum caps, than it 3 beeps as your case after 9 second.. thats 5 month a go, and today i found it again in the cellar under the cupboard, before i disassembly it again, i found this your vdo 9month ago? 😫😭 So sad i dont have welding machine.. so i give up 🙅🏻‍♂️🤷🏻‍♂️🤷🏻‍♂️ .i should sell it. . So that ic you replace with new one, not reballing it? Does it broken or what? . Btw, your video so complete. This is a real tutorial vdo, step by step, wich is so good, not like others ch, thanks sir, hope you still good well heallthy.. great job 👍👍👍👍👍.. . And the sony manufacture never release their manual service book and troubleshoot for technician beside we must sent it back to the main dealer to send to the manufacture😆😆😆 . Check for the FETs. If both power rails are short then check short curcuit for 12 volts that go to FET.

I just Ground Tristate to check whether the console was bricked or not and it was not. Because if it would be bricked then the green light says on and no three beeps.

I'm having a very similar problem to the system in this video. Each time it beeps three times and shuts down with the blinking red light. If i repeat this, eventually, the system starts up. Then, randomly during a game, it will shut down with three beeps and the red light blinking again. Any ideas as to what can cause this behavior? I've searched everywhere for a fix, and came across your videos. I really like how you explain your solutions and how you came up with them

my ps3 slim does not have 1.8v on the cpu and gpu coils, it has 12v on the other coils, would you know what it could be?

The CPU and GPU coils should have 1.00 volt in output terminal. If not check for the switching signals on input terminal that is from the PWM chip on the FETs. the PWM chis located at the backside of the motherbord behind the FETs. Verify the bias resistances for the PWM chip.

Best approach would be connecting TTL and check the error codes for precise identification of the problem
