It's only backwards compatible to Playstation 1 games, but not PS2. :)

Im happy i can play ps1 games on playstation 3 :)

I didnt have ps1 or any games just ps2. I wanna play my ps2 games=(

I have a PS2 myself and It's backward compatible with PS games and accessories!

all ps3 models can play ps1 games disc based. Only the 20 gb & 60 gb models can play has 100% backwards compatibility for ps1 and ps2 games. the original 80 gb model is also backwards compatible but not as good as the first two and will only play 50% of the ps1 & ps2 games.

We know! Why are you saying that we can play ps1 games???

@fotbollism Sorry man, I know what you mean. I'm going to get 2 broken backwards compatible ones and make one good one (1 With the YLOD, 1 with a bad dvd drive)
