dude this is awesome. i got this thing used a while ago and have sent it in once or twice for repair. hell it might have been a YLOD when i bought it. i don't clock many hours on it so it should last a long time.

What are the sympthoms of this issue??? I have one who does not show any picture GLOD but it charges controllers for short time

I got 2 broken ps3s, a cecha01 and a cechb01, the a01 has ylod and b01 didn't display on either av or hdmi and did off after about a minute. I dk what's wrong with either because I bought the b01 as parts console and took both apart to fix the a01. It was working for a while but then I was playing a game and fell asleep then turned it off and started it up in the morning and it just crashed

On my JBC I use temperature of 430c all machines are different and temperature

Excellent job man! My fat ps3 ceche01 quit outputting video only through hdmi but puts out through the AV. I changed out the hdmi port but no luck, my tv even recognizes that its on but no signal. Do you think it could be this as well?

Are you still repairing boards? Mine has no HMDI output. Tried composite (RCA), still nothing. Best I could get was sparse, random colored pixels inside roughly square areas. The rest of the screen stays black. I would love to have my board repaired. I have removed it from the unit and cleaned it (retired industrial maintenance tech). Would you work on mine, or could you recommend someone? Thanks

@@meathead1011980 yeah the only thing I can offer is a reflow I don’t do the GPU swaps only reflows which that really doesn’t fix the issue you have to have the GPU replaced that’s why I told you to contact Booter lol

i have also a ps3 fat 60gb which doesn´t output a video signal over HDMI or AV.

Wish I could fix one of these

Hello I have a problem with my 80gb backward compatible it says no signal on HDMI I inspected the hdmi is not damaged at all. Many cables and resetting video did not work. Trying to test AV but haven’t yet. I saw a Panasonic chip may be the cause. Regardless what’s it cost for repair

Mine is doing that, I took it to u break I fix and they didn’t fix it, originally had yold but when they reballed it, it still did it, I left it plugged in a while and it works, but the green light is on and it doesn’t work, please let me know if you can fix my ps3 I am the original owner and only took it to them I never attempted to repair it prior to this, like I said they say they tried reballing it

hi man i just picked up a ps3 A01 model and when i plug it in the tv with hdmi no display pops up nor with av cables was wondering if you had an idea what it might be. It powers on just fine but no signal from ether?

Got a ps3 60gb the writing is in Chinese tried to update it failed to update it tried other harddrive but still Chinese any idea why

the clock battery is usuaslly the faulty part on update errors usually it says error 8002f1f9

More like no hdmi fix.. Simple very easy fix

I have an 80gb backwards compatible ps3 i get HDMI video with 480p but if i try any other resolutions i get no signal.

i have the same problem with my 60gb fat. after turnin it on, it shuts down after 15 sec. when i do the soft reset, it stays on, but no picture over AV or HDMI.

hi man, I have a PS3 on which AV si working but HDMI not working, i have made som measurments and few of data lines on HDMI are grounden and thats a problem, any suggestions what it could be? it can be the chip? or something else?

Do the measurements around the chip like I did ... And see if you have any low numbers If so then it's the chip

Could possibly be the HDMI port or the power IC For the HDMI port Check the HDMI port with continuity mode You can check and see if there's any shorts around hdmi power IC
