This is a beautiful song called "Circle Game" off the classic album, "Ladies Of The Canyon". Tori Amos also covered this beautifully during her Original Sinsuality tour live at the Auditorium Theatre in Chicago IL on April 15, 2005. Both versions are nothing less than compelling, as is the chorus's version here. I'm very proud of this arrangement, and very proud of the chorus obviously as well for bringing the song to new life for me.

How many tears I have shed over this song. THIS rendition turned me into salty soup. Thank you for this.
This is utterly wonderful. Young and full of beauty and sincerity and earnestness.
This is so wonderful! Children and song are so natural together--it melts the hate of the world for a precious moment. I wish it could forever, but take joy from this and hug your neighbour for goodness sake! Peace!
These kids must be seniors by now! Great group. Perhaps a reunion and another video with them all? :-)
COVID brought me back to this video - it has always made me feel good. Kudos to the teacher!
This gives me shivers it is so beautiful.
This is a beautiful arrangement of the song with new harmonies at ends of the phrases. Children of all backgrounds singing together about the fleetingness of chilhood. The students become the teachers.
Oh Gregg, you have NO idea how much I needed this. You absolutely touch more lives than you will ever be able to realize. Thank you sooo much... We love you!!
I agree with you completely. They're amazing and I do tear up too.
This is a gorgeous presentation of a song I already loved. Thanks.
Beautiful...❤🙏
What a gift on a rainy Saturday morning. Thank you.
Fantastic Kids, so lucky to have such an inspiring Teacher. Beautiful!
✨what an endless repertoire of beautiful songs that you arrange so brilliantly for them!! You make the lyrics so come to life PS22.💛💜
Beautiful as always. It's kind of funny, because y'all have spoiled me. I'll hear your songs without having heard the originals, and when I hear them, I'm often almost disappointed because your kids' versions are better to me. It's not just their voices either...which of course are amazing. It's the raw feeling and emotion you can hear in them...it brings me to tears. Thank you so much for sharing this with the world. I really really hope you guys put out an album.
sorry, it's my own, and it's not written out. if i ever get around to publishing my arrangements this one is a definite..... happy you liked it! :)
Very nice rendition.
they should go on tour! these kids are amazing, this proves that if you put your heart and mind to it..... as well with the right instructor... you can do anything!
This is Us, “The Train” episode brought me here. Beautiful version!!!
So peaceful and relaxing. These kids are amazing, and I'm happy the teacher chose to cover Joni Mitchell. Thanks guys! :)
dear god........... if my teacher in elementry school had been THAT inspiring to her students, our chorus might have had amazing performances like this
this was SO AWESOME! i sang this song for chorus also, its always had a special place in my heart. love the arragement and also totally love that little girl in the back that was rockin' out to it the whole time. very adorable. thank you for sharing your videos with us. :)
Omg, kids!! Tha's touching! I remember seeing another version of this song sung by the chorus, and definitelly this one is more inspiring! Lovely!
Wonderful job

Beautiful arrangement & I've watched a few of your vids. They sing SO well. I think this is my 2nd fave & I 1st fave is "Flying Dutchman". Long live the band & chorus geeks.
Beautiful SOUND! Unique-Bravo!
Yes, this brought a tear to my eye.
outstanding!
Beautiful song, arrangements and performance.
This song will always be remembered
Massive 💖👍!!!! Well done to everyone involved
Several comments: I used to do this with my 5th graders (I was a classroom teacher)...it's one of my all time favorites; thank you camera operator for showing close ups of the kids; Greg (??), how do you get your kids to show emotion when they sing?; at 60 now, I'm certainly dragging my feet to slow those circles down - each circle gets smaller and faster as the years go by. (Of course, I don't want them to stop yet!)
it's so so wonderful! so truthful and sincere, just beautiful!
Absolutely beautiful! Joni Mitchell wrote this song for Neil Young when he turned 20. He couldn't go to a place called Sugar Mountain anymore. It was a Youth Club in Canada for 19 and younger. He wrote a song called Sugar Mountain. She wrote this in reply.
Wow....brought me to tears, so beautiful!
the world needs to see them now.
these kids are truly wonderful! their teacher must be so proud!

wow. now I´m relaxed
Anyway: Each quality update is greatly appreciated. :-)
WOW!! These kids can really sing!!!
when do u film these (lunch) ?
thanks for including the recorded date in the info, mr. b hehehe. by the way, is it the standard in your classes that you have the soprano/tenor voices on the right side (your left when you're playing the piano), the alto/bass on the other side?
Caryl, here. Who is the little african-american girl at the last chorus in the orange t-shirt and blue jacket who is so animated and has the"passionate" look on her face? I hope by now that she has obtained her goals and is happy. All the kids were good but this girl "stood out" for me for some reason
I hope Joni sees this.
nice
well no tenors and basses yet in this group -- (voices have to change first) -- but otherwise, yeah, that's how we roll! ;)
A menina que aparece gesticulando vai ser cantora
They are not the new kids. This was recorded in April 2008.
these kids are so talented : ) got this video from Ashton Kutcher's twitter !
It's the chorus of 08. I'm wondering, when the first vid of the new chorus is going to see the light of day. How long does it take to produce something presentable?
New kids? Anyway, they're amazing, as usual
I'm a PStwenty-tweek! Love tham!
Mr. Breinberg if that's how you spell it soz :/ been so long. I remember the performance for Michael Bloomberg!
oh yeah, i forgot the boys are still basically on the girls' vocal levels yet at that age. ;)
#1!
It’s a circle game ,Nowdays those children are grow up
what does your political preference have to do with emotion?
