Who are these commenters that think this isn't a significant difference? It's literally twice as fast if not more.

Damn, thats lightning quick. Thanks for posting, I'm waiting to install until it hits live in a few months.

So what's the verdict? Is the print better looking and done faster, or is it no real difference?

2-3x faster. Prints look the same.

Would love to understand the ‘tech’ that went into this. Guessing this is in response to Bamboo and their harmonics profiling. So cool that just new firmware can achieve this. Same hardware, just better brain.

The "Loveboard" most likely already has accelerometers on board to achieve these results with "just" a firmware update.

Prusa use a fork of Marlin. Marlin added input shaping in Marlin 2.1.2. Decenber 2022. Since the printer dont have a acelerometers, i assume they took a lot of minis and resonance tested them an build a generic profile.

Where is the sound?

it doesnt seem that much faster but i guess it makes a difference on long prints

For me a 42 mins print, it is down to 23 mins. It is NOT 2 or 3 x faster. But it is definitely very fast for the same print quality. * Note: Mine is modded with an E3Dv6 hotend and a MK3S+ extruder

42 to 23 is almost 2x faster.

Amazing hardware, if only the software was better!! Such a pain with the corrupted USB sticks!

I have 2 corrupted sticks. The included and a Samsung actually today 😂

Impossible to draw any conclusion about print quality - very dark lighting… it’s a pitty.
