From far and clipped, I thought it was pine not cypress. Thank you for the tip on the spray for the blades.

I’m not really sure what variety of conifer it is, I’m not great at conifers so you are probably right! It looks very similar to our Leyland cypress hedge so I assumed it is the same as that but all the cloud pruning videos I’ve seen on conifers don’t seem to mention the variety.
