I’ve had exactly the same problems with weather, pests and diseases in my Aberdeenshire garden this season.😢 I’ve never seen so many rabbits and had so many plants devoured! It’s definitely the most trying year I have had in over 40 years gardening. I have often been heard to exclaim the words “Why do I bother!!” or “I give up!”. Oh well, next year will surely be better!😊
Don’t lose heart, it’s been a challenge but it can only get better!

Do you fertilize or just use mulch/compost?
It was so lovely to meet you and Olivia & Charlie yesterday - your border was my absolute favourite and I took quite a few photos for inspiration to use in my own garden. You must be exhausted but you all looked fresh as daisies - you are living proof that gardens are good for us!
It was so lovely to meet you too, I was very glad of a chilled out day in my own garden today, trying to get rid of some of the weeds after a few weeks of neglect! I have loved every minute of the garden build, especially spending time with the kids and together we’ve gone on quite a journey!
