Hey Dave I agree it's time Myles got his own Sig guitars. They look supercool prefer the blue Mattaeo and green! The man is incredibly talented as as singer, guitarist and songwriter as you know and seems a very cool guy! My brother has 2 PRS guitars they're amazing.

I’m actually shocked the two models are the same price. Considering the Myles Kennedy has the added collector value of being a signature guitar which usually comes with a premium, has upgraded electronics, better colors and will likely hold it’s value better for the above reasons it’s a no brainer.

I remember when my les was just starting out in the Wizard of Oz.

I like the looks of this one I’ve never liked the silver sky when I look at one I see a strat with a funny headstock this model seems more original and that they put more thought into the design

There’s nothing inherently wrong with a bolt on. There are bolt-ons that cost even more than 3k. It’s actually helpful for people who travel or need to ship the guitar to be able to have a bolt on neck. Also, Fenders have bolt on necks, so if they’ve improved on the quality and features (plus they have sexy bods 😂☺️🤭🫣), the cost might be justified. So far, I haven’t heard anyone who has reviewed the guitar complain about the price, but I guess the sales figures will be the ultimate determination on that front. My beef is 3000k for a Tele?! It’s not the bolt on that would bother me but the fact that it’s essentially a slab of wood without any of the fancy PRS violin style carved tops. I’m hoping the SE will be around the same price as the rest of the SE line and that PRS won’t pull an Epiphone (yes, I used Epiphone as a verb, 😂).

@@MashaT22Excellent comment & I totally agree with everything you said - except the Epiphone thing at the end because ‘pull’ is actually the verb and ‘Epiphone’ is still a noun as it follows the indefinite article ‘an’. Peace & love from Liverpool ❤

They look misformed. The colours are crap. Price is stupid. They may sound good and play well so if an SE version comes out maybe

Not really interested in this one

The PRS tele looks like a Gibson L6 that was left out in the sun and melted. It’s insanely ugly, everything that makes a tele cool was taken out and single coil humbuckers? Blah. This is a giant swing and a miss for me chief. That price is garbage too.

@@misterknightowlandco perhaps, but yours is the first I’ve seen. It’s ok not to like something, of course. It seems it’s overwhelmingly positive on the whole. If you have to search for the negative comments, then it’s not that many people who don’t like it. I’ve also seen loads of comments asking for an SE version. So on the whole, doesn’t seem that bad. I guess time (and sales) will TELL-E, lol! 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

@@MashaT22 this could go on to sell millions and I’ll still think it’s ugly and hate humbuckers lol the cut out doesn’t bother me and a tele without the typical tele bridge is fine but the black headstock and maple fretboard that just screams 80’s budget Guitar and makes me want to hurl everytime when I see it. I’m guessing you weren’t alive then so maybe it doesn’t bug you the way it bugs me lol it’s just preference thing I guess
