PRS McCarty 594 Complete Set Up and KZread Guitar Nonsense ( Again ) DO NOT BELIEVE THE HYPE!
We are taking care of my favorite guitar - one of the two 594's I have. And we take the opportunity to talk about KZread Hype and a bit of a rant.
I hope you enjoy!

Hey Cesar! Love the channel! When I was a pro touring lead rock vocalist/writer/rhythm guitar many MANY years ago...sigh...digital vocal effects came out and I hated them! But just like anything else, when new technology enters the market you're going to get all the warts and bumps and it can take years before it all gets ironed out. I very much preferred analog vocal effects, which was my main focus, I wasn't playing guitar for entire sets and as such I wasn't as attuned to the guitar effects. Then sampled sounds starting coming out and things got better, but I still preferred analog for quite a few years afterward. Of course digital has come a long way and I'm retired now but I use digital exclusively for small gigs and home recording and am quite happy! Jack ~'()'~

Awesome video thanks!! I just got a new prs s2 mccarty 10th anniversary model here, and need to do a set up on it. Going to try this and see how it feels to me...i like lower action and seems like a great idea to oil the neck with all the strings out of the way and cut like that, i used to do one at a time , but like this way, thanks!!

Hey Cesar, I agree there's a lot of foolishness going on in the guitar community. On my 25.5" guitars I've always used plain D'Addario 9-42 strings which were $5 for years and years. I still have a pretty big stockpile of 0-42 strings, so I'm not sure what they cost now. As for effects, I bought a Line 6 HX Stomp a few years ago and I honestly can't tell the difference between that and the analog pedals I used to use. It's just easier and more convenient. I also live in Florida (Lakeland area) and have never had issues with humidity. Beatiful guitar. I also love PRS and Yamaha, and Kiesel. People who know, know. People who don't comment on KZread.

Nice to see you Cesar & good info.....truss rods, bridges & saddles etc were designed so we don't have to visit a luthier to make simple adjustments

Good morning, I'm Vincenzo, an Italian Who lives in Nl . I always follow his channel, his truly professional channel! I would like some advice: I would like to change the volume and tone potentiometers (which don't work properly), of my jazz guitar bought used (Ibanez AFJ81), with only one Seymour Duncan SH-2N pickup. I would like to’ buy 2 quality potentiometers that fit there. What do you advise me?
