As a cold war kid, I've always been fascinated about our supposed "enemy". And through videos like this I have discovered that I think we are so similar in lots of ways and there's nothing to be afraid about each other. One day, I would very much like to come to Russia for a visit!
Your English is really fluent, not many people around the world would be able to talk like you in Russian. How nice to learn about real life in Russia. Would be nice to visit your country!
Greetings from Canada. Thanks to the wonder of the internet, we have the opportunity of meeting nice people, like you, around the world! All the best to you. Fun to see the sights and sounds of everyday Russia. Cheers.

2 ram pickups. You'll be amazed. It may not be a ram. It may be a ram body with a Lada or Renault emblem. Ram may have gotten it from them. You'll be amazed what you learn there. You haven't seen anything until you've seen a Russian "Rover" that is a BMW body but basically a Chevy cavalier with manual windows. 😂😂 That tripped me out.

Different Russia I need and interested to reach Russia
Very enjoyable video. I must say the biggest difference I noticed between where you live and here, is that in Canada, a "town of 60,000" would be a city, lol. The town where I live has 2,800 people, by comparison.
I'm old enough to remember the 'cold war' between Russia (or then USSR), and the west, and there was no chance at all then to see how ordinary people there lived their lives. It's so interesting to see the different geographic and architectural differences between us. But I think, when you boil it all down, people worldwide have more things which unite them than which drives them apart. We all want the same things: a home, family, to eat and shop, to worship and to travel. And hopefully in peace and happiness. What we need is something which Different Russia videos do. It introduces us to each other and our lives, so we can all see our similarities.

@@christianfreedom-seeker934 ))))))))) Why should Russia expand if Russia has a lot of its undeveloped vast territory. And then why Russia is so much not a loyal population after the capture of a foreign country? )))))) Who lives with us at the expense of other countries? Think twice.
Just to clarify a few things. Fryazino is not really "provincial" Russia. It's a rather big "satellite town" near Moscow. Apartment prices vary from $1k to 3k per sq. meter (divide by nine to know per sq.ft). Most people who live there, work in Moscow. They spend from 2 to 5 hours a day commuting. The "approximately 50 cents" ticket was neither 50 cents, nor to Moscow. It was to the next station roughly 3 minutes away. The ticket to Moscow is 5 times that. Yes, it's still under 5 bucks but remember, the salaries are much lower and they have to buy two of those every day. The train seemed empty but that's only because it was midday and I suppose a weekend. On a work day morning there is a Waterloo on those tiny stations around Moscow. 10-12 thousand people need to get to work. They literally storm those trains. And then they storm the subway trains in Moscow. If you're a tourist to Russia, don't go to Fryazino. :-))
I'm very interested in your country. My great grandmother immigrated here to the USA from Russia. You are a very interesting and pleasant person.

After getting tired of Moscow/Kremlin, finally something *NORMAL* - part of Russia. Thanks for posting these videos Valeria. I like this Virtual tour of Russian towns..
I live in Brazil and I would like to congratulate you as this is the first oportunity to know about your country after the perestroika. Amazing video

All these Indians who have never been in Russia or lived in Russian communities giving opinions - you know nothing. Russians ARE the new nazis - hating foreigners, gays etc. West dislikes Russia because they keep INVADING and threatening their neighbors, has a cyber-army attacking the western countries and is actively trying to influence elections. Russians tolerate India only because you guys buy their lower quality nuclear reactors and military hardware. PS. Russia needed the west much more in WWII, most of Russia was starving at the time and they didn't even have basic weapons. Without western help they would be part of greater Germany now (and their life would be a lot better).

Most of small towns in Russia to my knowledge are centred around an insanely large factory. Residents of the town are usually the factory staff, basic service providers (police, firefighters, paramedics) , other service providing staff (bankers, teachers, department store employees, etc) and senior citizens.
You have a God given ability to show viewers what life in Russia is like, even how the commuter rail system works, even including the prices, which amazed me. I watched your video and enjoyed learning what you are teaching. My medical doctor is from Russia and is a great doctor. He tells me some about Russia when he has time but never as detailed about simple things. Thank you for sharing your life with us so far away.

И это при том, что у нас есть станции которые не ремонтировались со времен СССР и полно электричек более старых моделей. Даже в моногородах, которых, у правда нас почти нет, но есть пара.
