    Thank you for your feedback! Yes, that double drop D makes the real Creedence swamp sound! After I put this out, I found an article from a John Fogerty interview that confirmed this tuning for Proud Mary. He calls it D to D tuning.

    Thanks for making my day! This was the second song I ever learned, and for a long time I was feeling that something was missing. Getting to the bottom of this recording was satisfying and I hope others will enjoy playing it the way the studio version was recorded.
