I have 7 more treatments to go out of 29 in Michigan. My voice has not sounded normal since before I started, about two months before treatment my voice was hoarse and still is. I am a singer in a band I’ve been in for over 30 years and I’m scared I will never have my voice back. I pray I will but it feels like I won’t, I hope I do. I am so grateful and thankful that I the chance to save my life through these treatments a and having my voice back will just be a gift from God but I am still praying I do get it back because I love singing so much!! I wish everyone luck in their journeys and I’ll be praying for you, God bless!!

I tried this therapy for a tumor in my neck,, They had to do the mask 3 times because it was choking me out,, After 5 exposures to the proton therapy I could not take the pain anymore and had to stop..... It did shrink it a little bit but I could not continue with Pain that felt like someone stick in an ice pick in your neck,, A horrible feeling and I personally think there was something wrong with the proton machine this was in Irving Texas. I pray for all of us🙏

Kind of interesting that every video on "proton beam radiation" on KZread is talked about by a doctor and posted by medical administrations. Not a patient going through it, not their voices or experiences. Just an observation.

I have undergone 30 sittings of radiation after wearing the mask. The mask was so tight that I felt as I am choked. All my co sufferers I only wish to tell you be bold and face what ever you get. The dryness of mouth and loosing some dentition in some cases is inevitable. God helps us.

My fears are not of the first visit or the second or so on. My fears are long term side effects. I don't want to lose my beard or teeth, I want to enjoy the rest of my life.

This is awesome! Very artistic and creative. Dr. W shared this with us today....but it was a different song? (Radioactive - Imagine Dragons maybe?) Said we may be hearing from you about doing one for husband's Robotic Surgery (next week)?

I love the video - it's very uplifting to me. I am about to embark on radiation treatment for Parotid Cancer. What is the name of this song you used for the video? It's stuck in my head!
