Protesters spray tourists with water

Thousands of protesters in Barcelona sprayed tourists with water in popular tourist areas on June 6.
Barcelona has seen a huge rise in housing prices in recent years, with some government officials blaming high tourist rates.
Barcelona’s Mayor Jaume Collboni announced a plan in June to phase out all short-term rentals by 2028 - an unexpectedly drastic move by authorities seeking to rein in soaring housing costs and make the city liveable for its residents.

You are telling tourists to go home. They will, after a couple of weeks after spending their money and contributing to your economy, why aren't you saying the same thing to illegal immigrants ?

I'm a Londoner (one of the most visited cities in the world) and I love tourists. I'm always very friendly to any I encounter. I'm proud of my country and my city and take it as a compliment that people want to visit. Also it's interesting to meet people from all over the world. These people are deeply unpleasant and aggressive and should be shamed.
