Get it, girl! The size you did is perfect. It’s so full, healthy and vibrant. I’ve done smaller twists and have had difficulty with untwisting them and acquiring knots. Other cons I experienced with having smaller twists: my ends were not as full nor coily and I couldn’t rock a twist out afterwards. You should try Shea moisture’s curl&hibiscus gel soufflé for length retention.

i do SUPER small mini twists and they arent harder to take out...you put oil down the strand and they slip right apart....i have 3c-4b hair and they last for 6 weeks and i have no problem removing them.

i do these all the time and i have to do mine on blown out hair or they are a tangled mess...dont know why tho...bc once im done installing them i mist my hair with water (aloe vera juice) to make my twists puff up...but on WET hair is a mess for me...i dont know why though.

I have thick hair and I try to watch Netflix when I twist so it goes by faster. That leavein reduces my shrinkage.

First off loved your hair!!! I’ve used this same line (the entire product line) and I honestly don’t care for it other than the fact that it kept moisturized (i guess) but it for sure did not help with shrinkage !

😂😂 Thanks for liking it. It’s super easy to maintain at night. All I do is put on my jumbo bonnet and get in the bed 😂 I didn’t stretch them the first night but I probably will next time.

I love twists, but I got away from the twists because I found it didn't prevent the problem of knots. In fact, it may have set me up for more knots. Have you had to deal with this at all?

Hey sis! I did untwist them before I washed my hair. Yes, I did have a problem with knots, but only on the twists I made too small. The bigger ones were fine.

Also, I don't know what your budget is like but I got my DENMAN brush from Amazon for $12 and it's the real one! I got my daughter's there too. A bit cheaper than on the DENMAN website and Sally Beauty. I hope that helps you if you really want one like I did but couldn't shell out $30 for a hairbrush. Peace and blessings to you girl!

I love 2 strands but never thought to use gel. How does the gel leave your hair feeling after a couple of days? I use olive oil for curly hair gel for my ponytail styles, would that be ok to use for the 2 strands?

Hey! With the gel my hair still feels soft & moisturized, just don’t use a lot. I’m not sure if just olive oil would be enough for the twists since I’ve never tried it, but if it holds down your ponytail styles I don’t see why it wouldn’t work for your twists.

My twists untwisted! My hair tried to go into curly spirals do I ended up doing braids.

Your twists are beautiful. The length is desireable. It hangs and is thick and not thin. it is femenine and has a nice swing.

I don’t think honk you can ever get away with shrinkage lol. Curly hair is gonna shrink regardless. But you hair is so beautiful love it. X

Thanks! I took them out after a week but only because I had to record another video. They still looked good. I’m sure I could have gotten 2 or 3 weeks out of them.

Doing them with wet hair with added moisturizers is better for the hair as opposed to doing it on dry hair. Then you get more growth. Your way is much better.
