Personally I would have put the sign on the inside of the fence on posts, so anyone trying to destroy it which I think may happen will have to trespass to do so. It's a nice sign

Those dodo trespassers may think it’s a Drive-Thru entrance to a fast-food restaurant ahead. Thus they will keep driving and not stop! 😂

I had problems with neighbors who bullied the last owners of our property heck they bullied others in our neighborhood. The husband parked his truck and boat on my land I took a picture of his tag and they came storming out of their house raising cane until they saw I was recording them. He moved his truck and after that I put up concrete posts put them 4 feet apart. They haven't bothered us since I told the husband that I bet I get out of jail before he gets out of the hospital.

At least have a contract with a towing company and they will at least post a sign saying where the vehicle will be towed to and have their phone number on the sign as well. The signs usually state that it will be at the owners expense as well. It helps eliminate any possible liability issues. Once the tow company has an authorized sign posted it will show that J & G are serious about them being towed.

At $600 a pop they will stop parking as soon as they run outta cars 😂

My family owns an rv park and we have had some issues with getting AT&T out. Just a suggestion when you call ask to speak to the supervisor from the start once you get a supervisor ask for the installation supervisor or manager. They should be able to help you or put you in contact with the correct person.

I grew up in central FL and my cousin's daughter worked in the discipline office at the elementary school-she saw 9 and 11 year olds doing deals in the school yard that way mama did t have to work under the table to suppliment EBT etc. Sad

As a former rep at a cell company. As they CSR to open a case (can't remember the department name) for new service to be ran/expanded. They should be able to open a case for the proper channels to get back to you.

Engineering department can create work orders. They are also where techs get dispatched from to trench lines for new service 👍

In Australia they call these type/class of people "BOGANS"!

For the 'Drive Thru' sign: May I suggest to add some washers to those screws so the plastic is less likely to crack / break. Also, maybe backlight it with some motion activated flood lights. Then there is no excuse for saying that a person missed it.

I truly don’t think that poor OSL knew what to say about the differences! He was definitely shocked & when you told him you were going to clean up more, I feel like he was so used to it being a disaster; he was just blown away that more was to come!! You guys have absolutely done a fantastic job, not just with the road; but making it much more safe for the techs who come out to work. The only thing that bugged me is when George asked how long it had been since there were shots at the tower & he replied "I have no clue, I don’t know if anyone is shooting at the tower" 🤯! Your techs are reporting lights being shot out & it’s great that they upgraded their systems, but what about your techs who climb these towers? Maybe there’s some type of litigation behind the scenes so he can’t discuss it, but if I were a manager dealing with situations like that, I would have NEVER sent less than 3 people to that site! At least you guys are on the property now, but I can’t fathom how terrifying it is to wonder if that is the day you are going to take a bullet. Everything is looking incredible, what a spectacular place to build a dream home! You definitely need to build more secure chicken coops b/c the snakes are coming in fast! I think it would be so incredible to clad the roof in license plates since you’re getting SOOOO many! (Coolest roof for chicken/duck/pea fowl roosts EVER 😂! Where we live in California is rural and a bit remote but thankfully a fiber company got issued a grant for our area because we couldn't barely have any sort of internet access , we now have gigabit speeds and it's absolutely amazing. We can now watch What the Hales with no buffering!

When people are used to dumping on other people property they just get used to it until somebody calls them out...then they get upset by their own stupidity.

Literally laughed out out loud when George said the area was filled with lawn ornaments. I thought that was a kind way to put it. I don’t recall the lawn ornaments, but I remember the trash. I like old, moderately beat up lawn ornaments. Also very kind to not mess up a kid’s life because a supposed adult talked him into doing something criminal.

Sorry to say that sign says VANDALISM!!! I hope u hv a camera on the gate n sign because I feel like someone or somebody is going to damage it!

Put ya a couple 4 inch lag bolts thru the chain to hold it to the fence post so won't have to worry about dropping it a forget about to put back on

I think maybe put a solar gate opener on those gates. Put the solar cells/battery further in the property to protect them from vandalism; maybe on a 15 foot pole.

Another idea is cameras with software or maybe distance sensors to detect cars on the road and notify your phone. You can then your check your camera and call the police or maybe activate a red strobe alarm light warning them.

As a former ATT employee, I can tell you that the fiber optics running to the tower for cell service are a dedicated service specifically for that tower. They cannot fork off line/signal for your house for it. That "circuit" has a special speed rating and signalling that is incompatible with home internet use. For internet at your home an entirely new line would need to be trenched to your home from the nearest central office (CO) or the nearest internet IP backbone cabinet.

I concur. Former Access Service Center employee, which orders the lines from AT&T central offices to the Towers. I interfaced with the carrier and the engineering departments and installation.

@@WhatTheHales try the att fiber website first and put your address in to see if you are already qualified. If it says you are not, att engineering will have to provide a solution. If you are too far away from a CO, it may be a tougher install as there are length limits to how far signal will travel without booster/repeaters. Rural area are always difficult because of the long cable runs. ATT sales is your next stop and they will have to work something out with the engineering dept.

A little tip to make opening the gates easier. Drive a couple of fence staples over the chain so you can just let it hang on the post whenever you undo the lock.

Nope -- those people would drive right over flower beds. And as others have pointed out, there may be an easement issue with public road via parking. Jeremy Might not have an issue with short-term Respectful parking -- depends on neighbor relations. So far, he's shown us that he's standing firm about his property rights -- as well he should. Yay, Jeremy! If no easement issues, boulders would work there.

As far as getting fiber to your property, you will need to go to the local office of the company that has the fiber and talk to a planner. They will be able to help with the process. I don’t mean the local sales office. There should be an actual “base” where the day to day business takes place. Hope this helps.

"Drive-Yhru" To me, it sounds like you want people to drive in. Just me, i guess.

Daisy chain locks are common for police outdoor shooting ranges. I used to practice at the Fremont, CA and the size of that daisy chain was awesome!

Cool sign on the road, and it’s a major improvement with the junk cleared out, but I am sure there’s more to clean out

Call a networking or telecommunications contract company and hire them to pull the fiber and they will know who to call and what permits to buy as well.

The Fiber Optic issue, you hit the nail on the head. These telecommunication companies need customer service that can handle those questions. Not just ignore your need for service. And now I know it's not just a Washington State problem, but also a Florida problem. I've been watching this little saga of yours, and BOY am I happy I did. Last week my landlady fixed our driveway parking lot of our apartment building. when asked about where she thought I should park my Jeep "off road' she told me to "just park it across the street at the factory parking lot. " Well that's lot is posted and I would be towed away to park there. Really Bad Advise lol Thank you for the update.

Hay guy! I needed help from AT&T out here in Oregon and to contact someone to get our problems resolved and I had to actually had to follow or basically stalk a technician I saw driving and when they stopped find out who and where to go here inmy town and not somewhere else in maybe or maybe not the rest of the US! If you can find a office big enough to have more than customer service w/ technical support or technicians and show up in person they'll need to help you! Hope you get it soon! It worked for me, one of the tech lived by me and stopped by on his way home! Problem solved in 1/2 hr. Good luck Michelle from Oregon!

Re-chaining the gate and getting locks moved was a regular thing due to all the break- ins on our old farm. I saw a cut lock and part of a chain in the back of my Jeep the other day. Found the extra locks I bought too
