The thought of the loss of net neutrality is terrifying. The internet is where the playing field is leveled for businesses, creative people, information sharing, and so much more. I just don't want to be in my 80s or 90s telling my grandkids about how awesome the internet use to be. No. My 30s/40s telling my kids. Or even in a couple years telling my cousins.

This is the first time I hear about Net Neutrality.. Nick & you did such a good job explaining it. Its interesting bc it's almost like what apps (Instagram, twitter, KZread, etc.) have already been doing where they control what you see or how u grow according to your activity and what they think YOU like. but with the internet completely..?. and by the people who provide the internet.,,?.. do you think beyond the competition, would what we can see eventually become extremely limited? for example like television: basically what we see is controlled by a small group of people that think "this is what the people like" or "this is what the people have to see" ? do you think if net neutrality is removed, websites would eventually become limited, like basic channels on TV are to us? (I know theres a large amount of channesls today but nothing compared to how many websites, what if some providers decide to put limits where u only see the main bigger sites and have u pay for extra things like access to those smaller quirky sites or even charge to create sites. no one owns the internet but its almost seems like they do by making competition) idk if this makes sense haha please correct me if I'm wrong

Anna please make more of these kinds of videos!! i think we all love the great info you bring us cause you make it so easy to understand (with assistance from your bf in this video) and discuss important issues (such as how brands work, and what instagram did with their feed).

net neutrality may cause companies to move their operations to other countries and focus on supplying their content to countries that continue to maintain net neutrality, which would not only cut off americans from these companies but ultimately harm the US economy, obviously I cannot say this will definitely happened, but it seems pretty strong cause of concern for american people and your government
