    Second helmet makes you look like you’re ready to be fired out of a cannon and I mean that as a compliment. 🔥

    I love that there's more focus on that helmets are ok. If Prodigal Suns can wear it, if Andy can wear it and if Mike V can wear it, so can you.

    Eeek I have a green one coming in at the end of the week (uncertified), I always felt like certified helmets feel like cheap rental helmets, I LOVE the padding on my Lasek and being able to take it out and wash it. Let alone , mix the padding for a perfect fit. Cheers on the great vid!

    I picked up a non ce skate helmet for skating and loved the fit not mention the comfortability but decided to return it for a certified helmet which isn't as comfortable but still looks good :)

    Every time you put the second one on your eyes and your swag turns up to maximum stoked 🤙🏾 i just got a Pro-Tec water certificated helmet. It’s the Mark Jacobson signature pro model. Do you think it will be ok to longboard with it. I’m keeping it under 40mph. I’m only up to 25mph right now.

    I recently bought two Mystic Shiznit kitesurfing helmets, one in matte black and the other in "sea salt green" (just went on sale). The helmets are certified, but only approved for watersports (CE EN 1385 CLASS I / IV). They have a hard shell made of high-strength thermoplastic and fit very well, I have no doubt they will protect my head. Unfortunately they don't have good air ventilation and are about as heavy as a TSG evolution (>1lb), but hey.. at least they look rad, hehe. I don't live in a very hot climate anyway and you get used to the weight pretty quickly.

    I’ve been using certified helmets for about 10 years now, for both skateboarding and mountain biking. I believe the certified helmets have saved me several times, but I’m going back to soft-foam / non-certified helmets. As I’m sick of a horrible fitting, top heavy, hot, and just dorky looking helmets lol! Any helmet is better than no helmet

    Hey. Great 'real-life' guide video. Could I please ask you, though understand if you don't want to, lemme know your actual head measurement? I'm having trouble finding a lid for my big head so knowing what size your head is would be a great help, cheers.

  • @ras0ne
    @ras0ne Жыл бұрын

    The main difference in the sizes is the foam. For instance, the only difference between a small and large helmet is the foam, they essentially have the same size shell. So for a more customized fit, you may have to mix match foam.

    The main difference is the cooler they aren't as comfortable. I have 2 of each. It's hard to wear my certified helmets

    what i hate is i love my uncertifide helmet it fits great it doesn't move love how it looks 0on me, its the same as your second one just in black but I know the certified one is good and more protective but I bought one and it moves around to much and it makes my head feel really big.

    I have to ask, why go strapless? I wear mine pretty loose I don't notice it at all. Almost feel like the strap hanging would distract me. Definitely interested in these helmets and it has me rethinking what I wear so I appreciate the videos.

    Whats the hardest slam you think you could take with an uncertified helmet? Like im bouta practice dropping in on a 5 ft concrete quarterpipe. You think if i whip my head slipping out id be f'd with an un certified?

  • @ProdigalSuns

    @ProdigalSuns

    From my own experience yes. I think I'm fine. To me certified aren't comfortable to wear so I might not wear it. I wear the other helmet. So it's safe for me.
