I have metastatic prostate cancer (gleason 5+4). I have been exercising 5 - 6 times a week for 5 months. Light weights, bands & isometric exercises. I feel absolutely fantastic. Exercise is the main reason. Prayer & meditation also.

That's great, and is a great example that a lot can be done with only a few pieces of inexpensive equipment. You should give this protocol a try as well!

I am (4+5) with recent metastasis on pelic bone. Had prostatectomy, then radiation 2yrs later and Im on Erleada at the moment. Coming off Bicalutamide as of 2 months ago. Either way, Zero side effects from any if the procedures or meds. All due to exercise 5x per week, good diet and staying active as possible. Feel great at all phases. Cancer is NO excuse for not exercising!

Thank you for your tremendous commitment! Unfortunately, too many people at that age have obstacles with shoulders, elbows, wrists…. Which makes impossible the types of exercises you show.

I use the elliptical but with the cycle-type handlebars to avoid painful shoulders. Works a treat.

Nothing is impossible, it's an excuse. I workout 5xs per week & have typical wear & tear from playing sports for half my life. Im going on 59 soon and still put in the work at the gym. Feel great!

Hi Roger, thanks for your comment. Anything can be worked around! Bad knees or hips? Use a ski or rowing ergometer. Bad shoulders and elbows? Use stair master or incline ergometer. Just give it a try and let us know how it went!

Great video. Is there more benefit in longer sessions, say 30 mins, rather than multiple shorter ones. I need to add 15 minutes to my current schedule somehow, somewhere!

Hi Philip, I hope you are well! Thank you for your great question! I would say that it works a bit like a medicine, if you had a cold you wouldn't take the whole box at once on a Sunday, but you would spread the dose on the week. That would be the best way, to spread the exercise over a few sessions per week, BUT the most important thing is to actually do it! So if 3 or even 2 times per week is all you can currently fit in your schedule then go for that!

On my 4 resistance exercise days I warm up with 5 minutes on an incline treadmill. Today I changed this to the elliptical. Getting into and out of zone 3 minutes: 5 minutes in zone = 80 minutes a week. Solved.
