HELL YEAH I LIKE CARGO POCKETS

Received my OD BDU 2.0 trousers a couple of weeks ago from Venture Surplus. Really like them. Pros: the new lightweight ripstop cloth and soft waistband are very comfortable. Seems like the cargo pockets have been placed higher on the pants, which I really like. The only con is the length. I ordered my standard military size, Lg/Reg, and these trousers are about 3” too long. I don’t blouse my trousers anymore, so I’ll get them hemmed to the proper length. I’m thinking of ordering another pair in Lg/Short just to see how they fit.

Bought 2 pairs. Let me tell you. They feel good. Very accurate description on the product. I like them. I think I'm gonna be daily driving these pants. I'm actually super impressed.

They really dropped the ball not having a gusseted crotch. So close!

IHWCUs but everyday color is something I've been hoping someone would make for a while....just wish they'd kept the button fly instead of a zipper 😔

Seconding the button fly, and I hope the crotch isn't as high on these as the hot weather uniform pants are. I don't like people being able to check my pulse by just looking at my leg.

I absolutely dig it. If they made those in ocp I would wear them for my uniform.

One thing I've found when it comes to hot weather pants, zippers hold a lot of heat and moisture in the crotch. Button fly is so much better.

There will eventually be a raid mod video, but it’ll be more of a general one covering a few examples

I might be in the minority here, but I really like the pants from Duluth Trading Company as tactical pants. Gussetted crotch and I'll never go back. I'd rather not spend that much on pants, but I also usually wait for sales. Just got a pair for $48. And overall, the last a while, considering I'm not blowing the crotch out on pants.

Doesn't matter much if you are in the minority or the majority. If what you are doing is working, stick with it.
