Supposedly if you pay more, you get more. Is that the case with these pants? I usually don't cross $100 for a pair of pants, but for this occasion, I doubled it. I have been looking at these pants for a while now, and finally I just couldn't help myself. Seriously, I looked at the uf pro gear site for months and months before I bought. Are these the best tactical pants out there? We'll find out, so tag along with me and see what you think!
P.S. Don't tell my wife how much I spent on them!

Thanks! I would still be wearing this pair, but I lost a lot of weight so I sold them to a friend. I have another set on order!

My wife finds that a lot less funny than us...
Own 2 pair. Syria & Iraq They are easily the best pants Ive owned. WITH THAT SAID The elastic in the seat will fail first. then one by one the zipper pulls, then zippers themselves. 200 and now 235 dollars and neither lasted 2 years.

@@graydogllcTruly comfortable , just alittle frustrating. got a second pair because I thought it I sized up it would different but no. The first was casual use in the states for forestry and the second was mostly oconus but they both failed the same exact way: holes in the less durable elastic seat/inseam and the the loop that held the zipper pulls woudl snap and at that point you cant even add new zipper pulls. it is just jagged zippers I had to dremel down to stop pissing off uber drivers . The fact that they are actually MORE expensive now is just ridiculous to me and I can no longer really justify the purchase. If they made the same exact pants without that elastic part. maybe though because one thing is that these pants are near-perfect for flying.

@@no.9516 well I will stick with them for now. I am not liquid enough to be wearing Crye every day! I only wear mine on the range, and they are excellent for that.

@@graydogllcId say these are better than the crye equivalent . I just wish they lasted longer in certain ways. Can I get the holes sewn, yes. Do I need ALL my pockets to zip closed lol probably not. I do still favor these over crye
" I don't know what that is for....".proceeds to RIP it off. SMH! Dude, it keeps your phone, knife or wallet inside and KEEPS it there. I have those pants for years and LOVE them.

I would still be wearing this pair but I lost a lot of weight. Waiting on the smaller pair, they have been on back order for months!

Yeah, I'm probably in the camp that doesn't need a user manual for pants.

@@graydogllc For a high speed, low drag user like yourself perhaps. BTW, it appears the extra straps are for further securing your phone, etc. when needed.
I'm sure you've figured this out by now but that small flap of material that you removed is there to help with retention of your cellphone. UF Pro makes great pants - for me the fit and comfort is way beyond the likes of 5.11. How are they holding up for you?

the pockets are also sized for an M4 Mag. its fantastic for my phone tho, cuz i dont do airsoft yet and im not quite a soldier.
I don't know if I should buy the pants. I am worried that the stretch material is not durable enough.

It has been good for me, coming up on 9 months now. That said, if a 50 dollar pair of pants wears out, I don't sweat it. A 200 dollar pair now...
Do you have to replace these now that you're a lean, mean, fighting machine?

You forgot to mention the knee protection pad pockets (Pads are optional) and the waist inner zipper to add a windproof liner, (kzread.info/dash/bejne/eHyEmLeEpdm1abQ.html) for cold days (optional), and the hook at the bottom to hook the pants to the shoe laces. Try the P40 Urban, a bit cheaper, but same quality (bigger pockets with hidden zip), wearable on a daily basis. Looks less tactical, more casual, but with most features of the All Terrain, except the knees pockets or the bottom hooks. I can't wear anything else anymore. To me the best pants ever, as the manufacturer is auditing the armed forces and listens to their advise to improve their products. :)

Yeah, the features are rediculous. I don't mind the tactical look, I only wear them at work. I will check out the others though!
