Excellent tutorial. Many measurements I have not seen before. The sculpture looks so lifelike.

I started digital sculpting a few weeks ago, and proportions are so hard to do correctly, this helped alot so thanks for the infos !

your basic advice is VERY helpful and useful. you have offered information that suprisingly enough, isn't offered by other scupltor's here on you tube - eye spacing the measurement from the crown to the chin etc. I hope that you will be uploading more basic informative videos in the near future

Proportions apply to adult male and female . Children faces are different

i like your explaination maam,,but i ask only what is the ideal size or measurement of the life size of the human face.. thanks

Thank you Joanna. Is there a classical master who revealed this to us originally, or is this all your own deduction at work? Not that I don’t value your own experience, but I wonder how far back we understood these proportions of the human form.

I don’t know who established the proportions. Over the years I gathered pieces of information about facial and head proportions from different books, videos and articles.
