This is the funniest intro of our generation. It’s like I’m taking a trip back to an 80s sitcom commercial. Thanks for the great free content. Y’all are great

What I did for my grandmother was put Epsom salt paste on her leg that was swollen ...in one night it dried her leg up after months of swelling blistering etc.

Good luck expecting repositioning every 2 hours in hospital or other facilities. My loved one is in the hospital for 5 months and I have to go there every day to move his limbs, clean the feces he is seating for hours, and repositioning him. And that happens only when I’m there.

I'm watching the video while laying on a bed that also has a piece of plywood between the mattress and box spring. Got your back, Bob!

This is super helpful, I got food poisoning yesterday and was stuck in bed all day, and though I’m feeling better today, my shoulders are in agony. 😩 Now I know what I was doing wrong, and I’ll keep this video in mind next time I’m sick in bed all day.

I love my body pillow! I've thought about buying one of those U-shaped pillows (I think originally marketed to pregnant women), so you have one on the front that loops under the neck and then around to support the back. The wedges definitely help with knee pain for me too.

I used one of those to sleep on for about a week after I got my abdominal surgery, I was scared of sleeping on my side for some reason and it kept me from rolling over while also supporting my shoulders and knees. It also left room for my s/o to cuddle with me a little bit. My pregnant friend gave me hers because she didn’t like it lol. Those pillows are 10/10 would recommend.

I've been sleeping similar to that for 8 years. I have gastroparesis and laying flat without that Arch makes my esophagus hang open and I have to wake up and swallow my stomach acids and fight chronic nausea and pain. I have to sleep on the floor and don't even use my bed. But I would love to get them paddings on the thumbnail. I have the makeshift one with several pillows and an awning for my legs.

Question about the 2 hr position change for bedridden people. So for an able bodied person would it be bad to sleep all night in the same exact position?

at 3:58 you have a wedge at the upper body and at the legs. I have been experimenting with this setup for years. The challenge is that with or without the leg wedge, I slide down the upper wedge over the course of the night. With the leg wedge that still happens along with the leg wedge getting pushed down towards the bottom of the bed also. i just tried putting a yoga mat under both last night and it worked better than anything else I have tried so far. I guess my question is how the average person sleeps on an upper body wedge or even a bed that lifts your upper body, without sliding down all night?

Any suggestions for a stroke person with left side that was affected. Left arm paralyzed and left leg severe paralysis. Hes bedridden and the left side is so heavy that wedges and pillows dont hold his side up, he lands up right on the back in 30 mins. Im worried about skin breakdown on the back side.
