Love Gollum. ( made it my profile pic ) It’s so cute and unusual Mine grew so fast last year from a small cutting. It loves our heat in Perth it seems.

excellent video. I have a plant that is at least 6 years old and about the same size as yours. I love that is requires very little care and can spend the summer outside and transtion back inside for New England winters. I think it is outgrowing the pot it lives in. When do you decide to repot?

Someone gave me a very nice decent sized Gollum and I must have over watered it. I've been trying to root it since the fall! Would smaller cuttings root easier than the large trunk I've been trying to root. I let it set until it calloused, it's in a wonderful Succulent soil mixed with perlite. It's under a grow light. I don't want to lose it.

Gollum Jade Leaf Propagation: HELP? I have carefully removed about 50 fully intact Gollum leaves and tried everything to propagate them. Every single one of them failed. I did a handful of leaves for each method: step 1: dry 1-3 days to callus the leaf end (fully intact leaves) method 1: dip in willow tea hormone rooting water to coat leaf, set in pan of moist cactus soil, misting when dry, indirect light method 2: willow tea hormone water, set in pan of moist cactus soil, no misting, indirect light method 3: no rooting hormone, directly in moist soil, no watering, indirect light method 4: no rooting hormone, set in dry soil, misting when soil is completely dry, indirect light method 5: place callused leaf tip into shallow water, change water every day, indirect sunlight ALL LEAVES ROTTED AND SHRIVELED UP. NO ROOTING. What am I doing wrong?! Please someone help I am losing my mind here a bit..

@@EasyPeasyGardening I just moved them into a clear jar with an inch or so of moist cactus soil, kind of pressed them firm into the soil but not covered just enough so they don’t move around and to make sure they’re having contact with the soil, then I covered the jar with a small glass cup. I’ll open the lid once a day to check them and will keep them out of direct sunlight. I’m crossing my fingers I hope this method works! Thank you again!
