35 years later it beats most of today’s crap hands down. Underrated at the time. Still listen today and fresh as ever. Such a distinct sound and personality.

Great song still blows away crap today! Great example of lyrics and instrumental combination working perfectly!

Nice to see them make it to TOTP. Watching this takes one back to another time. It's hard to believe great songs like this kept coming year after year and we took it for granted while enjoying them to the fullest. Hard to believe it would all end and if we only knew we would have appreciated them even more.

Such a great song. Never ages.

I can listen to this over and over again and never get bored of it as it still is my all-time favourite song since I had first heard it back in May 1985. How it had never got any higher than no. 21 in the UK charts still remains a mystery given that ZTT records who were behind Frankie Goes to Hollywood massive success the previous year.

Blame Trevor Horn , he only wanted to make money so they had to sue ZTT in the end to get released from the contract in 1987. It destroyed their career.

Propaganda foi uma banda de synthpop alemã dos anos 80, formada por Ralf Dörper, Andreas Thein e Susanne Freytag. Posteriormente entraram na banda o jornalista Paul Morley, o músico e compositor de Michael Mertens e a jovem de 19 anos Claudia Brücken, como vocalista. Dentre os seus maiores sucessos destacam-se "P-Machinery" e "Duel" (esta última, de 1985, foi o hit do grupo que fez mais sucesso no Brasil nos Anos 80.)
