Coming back to this, this theory would have held up if they had stuck with their original plan. Apparently there is deleted audio indicating that Ink Bendy WAS supposed to be Joey Drew, which would definitely explain Ink Bendy's leg, arm, and, y'know, being the ONLY Bendy around. Sadly, though, they went with a soulless monster who was verbally abused, shunned, and locked away (and probably insane to boot.) I would have liked to see how the Joey being Ink Bendy route would have gone. It held a lot of promise.

I think that the reason Henry's audio log is locked away is because it says "I have a new character I think people will love". That indicates Henry created Bendy, but Joey locked the audio log in a room that is hard to access and took the glory of creating Bendy for himself.

I have my own little theory. Okay now when bendy “Tries to Kill you” he might want help and needs to get your attention so he goes after you, but he is full of ink and when he does get you, you die. When you cut the bendy cutouts bendy will appear, because I think he knows your the only person who would do that besides Alice so, he goes to see where you are. Also Alice wants to kill bendy because, she might also know that Mr.Drew is Bendy and Joey trapped Alice in the Ink machine to make her into Alice angle, but it failed. If bendy touches Alice she will be in the ink. Also when you go to the room with the lost ones he wants them to work and not go, because maybe they pretended to be sick. And when Sammy tries to kill you, bendy protects you. Again same with bendy vs the projector guy, bendy knows your there but he also at the same time needs to do his business so he leaves. Hope some people like this so supper horror bro will see this.

Amazing Theory dude. Go "Searcher" up Dark Night bendy noises when you listen carefully at the part where it says Bendy chasing noise Bendy says "LET ME IN!" I think the reason he says this is because when Henry runs away from Bendy, Bendy felt rejected, and maybe Bendy thought that Henry didn't love Him any more. And when Alice tells Henry to destroy the cutouts Bendy got mad ever time he did it. And when ever The Butcher Gang is attacking Henry, Bendy kills them. Joey only cared about money Fortune and didn't care about the lost souls in the studio. Bendy still loves Henry because he was Bendy's original Creator. And in the trailer for chapter 5 they used the old model Bendy from the beta version of the game. And when Bendy looks round in the corridor maybe that was the original Bendy that came from the ink Machine and the New Boney Bendy XD is Actually just Joey and the old one is the original and he's looking for Henry. I hope people see this reply cuz it's not that bad if a theory any that's my theory it might as well just be part of the Bendy timeline. BUT HEY THATS JUST A THEORY A GAME THEORY!!!!!!

Why would Joey would want to kill his friend?Well...think about it this way...you have a best friend that always stuck by you, always had your back and no matter what happened , he/she would always be with you, but then one day your friend decided to leave for whatever reason and even when they tell you why, you still wouldn't understand why they left and you would start feeling a bit hurt, angry and betrayed like "How could they do this to me? They LIED to me!" kinda feel and maybe that's what happened with Joey because not only did Henry leave Bendy behind, but he also left Joey behind as well (which would probably explain "the creator lied to us" writing on the wall) I'm pretty sure there are some people out there who would want to get back at their best friend for such a betrayal, but Joey's taking it a bit too far. But hey, this is just what I think.

Your wrong:joey was an old man who wanted to be reborned. He used ink to do so but the ink took over his body and he became the ink demon.

Yes, it all makes sense. I think that rather than Joey being the boss and Henry just another employee, that they were co-founders of the Studio, and Joey took the name for himself, as well as the credit because he's controlling and unsympathetic like you say. Then after some creative disagreements, Joey got around to building the Ink Machine sometime after Henry left, maybe it originally started working normally simply spawning real-life clones of cartoon characters, that would explain why the Borises look so perfect. Then some time later, Joey confined to his wheelchair and nearing the end of his mortal life, used the Ink Machine to merge himself with a clone of Bendy, thus becoming the Ink Demon. After that it's possible that the Ink Machine became corrupted, now a tool to re-animate the dead into a series of twisted characters. Also Henry is the original creator, and if Joey took all the credit, it's possible the characters thought Joey was the creator until they somehow found out it was really Henry. That would explain the message "THE CREATOR LIED TO US!" I love your videos, they open up so many possibilities for this story

I think Joey sacrificed his Soul to give to Bendy. Thus taking out all the bad traits of him and putting them into Bendy. That's why Joey realized his mistakes in the fifth chapter, and said "You should have pushed a little harder." Giving the point that Henry should have pushed Joey to be a better person, thus keeping Bendy from becoming evil.

Nice video. I agree with your video. Now in April 2018, chapter 4 was released and now I am wondering, "Is bendy really the villain in this story?" Throughout the game, he seems to follow you around everywhere, whether it be in the vents, halls, or even to where you are hiding. In Chapter 1, bendy tries to get you away from the ink machine. When you're is captured by Sammy in chapter two, instead of chasing you, he kills Sammy, who was in a way, planning to harm you. Bendy doesn't really appear as a prominent role in Chapter 3. When he does, he is searching for you. Would it be him trying to get you away from the harm of Alice Angel? Now Chapter 4. The audio tape in the messy inked up room, to me, sounds like Joey Drew himself. He sounds like he is being attacked or being turned into the inky demon we know today. In the projectionist fight in Chapter 4, Bendy intervenes and kills the projectionist. When his job is done, he peeks into the gap in the hiding hole, dead at you. He then walks away, leaving you be. My point is: Is bendy the good guy by driving you away or distracting you from the ink machine so you don't end up like him? This theory is just compiled of evidence and what I think. This is not 100% canon. This comment is getting extremely long and I do not want to drag it on longer.

The BATIM wiki states that the Ink Machine was initially a proto-3D printer, designed to create full-sized models of the cartoon characters out of ink, but the machine was modified as Joey Drew kept changing and adding to his requests of Ink Machine creator and maintenance man, Thomas Connor.

Another piece of evidence is that by the time Henry came because of the letter Joey was not there indicating that the letter was sent before Joey drew made this decision.

I agree with everything you've said. Although how do we know that Henry didn't create Boris and not Bendy? I say this because every time the you see TheMeatly in the game it's always behind a Boris poster. As we know TheMeatly voice's Henry in the game. Also in the recording Henry says that "when all else fail keep drawing Henry." Which may mean that he'd been working on a Bendy cartoon. Which may indicate that when he said , "on the plus side I think I might have a new character that everyone's going to love." He might have been talking about Boris. Sorry that this is long it just came to me while watching this. Noice videos though.

It's probably not important, but what if it is? What if he's somehow a reanimation too, or something else? I have a theory.. You know that audio recording that is the sound of someone being taken by the ink? So I am pretty sure that voice belongs to a boy because it’s a deep, very low and graspy voice. I have too opinions on who this voice could be: 1: Thomas Connor 2: Bertrum Piedmont because they both have very low type of voice. But I’m still leaner more towards Thomas Connor. Poor Tom.

God this was a nice theory. I love it how deep some people get into the theory while their talking about it. I especially like Bendy and The Ink Machine theories because they get really entertaining. You earned yourself a new Subscriber right off the bat! Great video! I can't wait until Chapter 5 comes out! I believe you were right about Joey Drew being bendy. One thing I pointed out was the Wheel chair. Joey is obviously old because he said it's been about 30 years right as you start the game. So, the conclusion is that Joey Drew is Bendy. Another thing, We don't see Joey in a human form in the game at all! We never have seen him. It's not like he went ok a Vacation or anything. So, that probably means he's Bendy either way.

i have a little theory myself...you know how Sammy died in chapter 5? his body just dripped away. That because he might not have a soul. But Norman in chapter 3, if you shoot him with the Tommy Gun, He doesn't drip away, which might signal that he DOES have a soul. But if Joey Is Bendy, why does Monster Bendy's body drip away when he sees "the end"? Does Joey not have a soul? Joey has an audio log in Chapter 5 that signals that he owns thousands of them. Then why doesn't Joey have one? thats my question.

I have a theory for my bro himself and it goes something like this: You know when we met Joey at the end of the game he looked like he was very old from he's age right? Well, Bendy seems to have no eyes which could represent he's bad oldage vision.

Weirdly in general I think the most poorly aged Theory throughout this entire series was the "Two Alice's being in one body"

I honestly don’t think joeys voice matches him. I would think that Joey would have a more calm voice. Kinda live Dumbledore from Harry Potter

And one time in an audio recording he sounded quite like what I thought bendy should sound like

I can see where Joey wanted revenge on Henry but he had his reason why he left his creation and the workshop but just because he left you doesn't mean he hates you or betrayed you or even lied to you he's still your friend to the very end but if you don't see that it's heartbreaking and getting back at your friend this way is a bit too far

This actually makes total sense. I agree and support this theory, as my icon is the Ink Demon, albeit a toy version.

I REALIZED SOMETHING! I got a theory myself. I noticed bendy showes up once in chapter 1. Bendy shows up more often in chapter 2 and boris shows up once. Boris appears more often in chapter 3, and even though aloce shows up more than once, she doesn't show up as much as the other characters do. This theory doesn't make much sense, but you can get an idea.

Boris the deathslayer bendy shows up once in chapter 2 ( chaseing henry )and shows up 2 times in chapter 1 ( jumpscare and after Credits cut scene)

And when chapter four comes out I think Bendy is NOT the bad guy here. If Joey is fused with Bendy maybe Bendy has no control over his real form. Or maybe what if Alice is forceing Bendy or Joey to kill Henry. Or what if Alice is controlling Bendy which is fused with Joey. I just think that Joey is the bad guy and Bendy is the good guy. And also I don't think Sammy is really a bad guy I think he's a good guy.

so i dont think that joey is bendy cuz at the end of chapter 5 we defeat bendy and at the very end we see joey and second proof is that why would joey try and kill henry when he already said that there best friends or old pals but still love your videos

I think the wheelchair DOES mean that Joey Drew is unwell, but mentally. Like, maybe he had a mental illness that made him the three traits you said he was. Maybe (after Henry left) near the 2 decade mark, Joey’s master plan sprung into action. First Susie Camble , then either Norman Polk or Wally Franks, then Allison Pendale(chapter 4 character) and Thomas Conner (another cpter 4 character), last but not least Mr. Drew himself. Then, before we get to play as “Henry”, he is killed, put into the ritual, then becomes the good bendy(the cute one that had a “NO”). That last part was from SuperHorrorBro (mike), but still.

THIS GUY IS THE BEST, HIS THEORIES ARE OUT OF THIS WORLD!!! Honestly I wouldn’t have ever thought that Joey Drew could be Bendy himself so glad this guy is doing what he is doing I know it’s a hypothesis but still

The only thing that strikes down this theory is one quote from Joey on Ink Bendy in Ch. 5 (before the video came out) saying if "this thing so messed up because *they're souless,* then, damn it, I'll give them a soul!"

Right now when chapter 4 is out we see there are a SPOILER ALERT So as i was saying we see a dood version of alice and a good version of boris so there has yo be a good version of bendy and my theory is there is and joey is the the demon we all know and hate while the ink machine was crazy costly which made joey do every single thing of his life with that cursed thing now of course people called him wierd but then when it was too much for him henry went to have a look at his best pal to show him all the carboard cutout but the ink mae all of them com alive so obviously henry left the brand and came waay to after the threat and now he is atleast 50-60 years old thats why he aint good at runnin or...HE GOT THOSE CONCRETE SHOES ON BOII and after this long most of the brndys are dead but the corrupted joey bendy and the good hiding bendy whoever was touched by joey was tranformed in the ink some were good and some were bad but when touched by the good bendy became good ink thingeys and in chap 1 we see henry getting touched by evil bendy bit when hr tan down the good bendy took hens body and now we have became good bendy and in chap 5 we will know this all and finally kill joey!!! Like if u agree or else u might be joeys next target

Wrong because in one of his tapes he says about bendy and Joey created bendy but the project went wrong so that's why ink bendy exists.

The video was made in 2017. That tape didn't exist in 2017, so he wouldn't have known that information at the time.

i agreed two but theres one thing no one know's. is it poseple to become a toon in real life? us the fans need to know that could we become our creations in real life by making a copy of the ink machine

If you look in the chapter five files, there was an unused file of Henry saying, “Joey..?” Before they played the “the end” cutscene. That’s all of the evidence I needed to believe it

At 1:49, Joey wants all their items because If he wants the make them a character he wold have to use their items. Even you said that yourself. So whoever gave away their items he is planning to make into a character.

And someone on Tumblr made a post about that well before Game Theory did, as did another person on KZread. Multiple people can come up with the same theory independently of each other from picking up on the same clues. Heck, I've seen even more in depth versions on the theory and some additional evidence from different people.

he could've created Alliace because he chose to spare Henry, he couldve created Bendy because he thought people were gonna love the character, however Joey and Henry had disagreements over the character designs. wich made Henry leave, wich made Joey mad at Henry, hence is the reason why Joey attacks you. But borris hepled you, he did no attempt to kill you becayse he was either created by Henry or he is one of the non corrupt characters.

Based on the time period the game emulates I'm guessing Joey was dying of polio. The wheelchair and Bendys limp seem to suggest Joey went nuts trying to cheat the virus so the ink machine would make him immortal
