I’m certainly not now.

Honestly I feel like the Butcher Gang is actually the theme park workers. The reason why is compared to the other creations these specific creatures look like they've been tortured and mutilated. Joey only really had hatred for Bertrum because of their similar personalities. It would make sense that he would reserve the most painful and horrific experiments for the group loyal to his rival. I mean if we compare the Butcher Gang to the Inky abominations we can easily see that the Butcher Gang has been experimented on. Piper has a plunger for a leg, Fisher has a fishing pole for a neck and a sign that says "Lair" and finally Striker has a mechanical arm. These were obviously slapped together with a lot of hate behind it. But they're way more thrown together than Brute Brois so I don't think Alice did it. Alice's work was honestly a bit half-assed so I think whoever did it was playing around with the ink machines limits. Then if you look at the other ink creations all of their deformations seem to be natural.... Or at least as natural as you can get with ink. I mean they don't have any machanical parts or items thrown into them. All their problems look like birth defects. Like how Alice's face looks like a burn scar, Bendy's arms and legs being nubby and even Tom's mechanical arm looks like he took it from one of the old Bendy animatronics in Bendy Land. I honestly don't think that characters can be born with objects that are not align with their original designs. That characters and objects are created separately and then after creation can be fused. This would explain why things like clothing can be mistook as skin like we see with Alice's gloves and why more ink abominations aren't just insane jumbles of items. The ink abominations haven't been assigned a character so they don't have a form, but they do have a soul so it makes them humanish. Since it doesn't have a blueprint it works off what is has. So my point is that I think someone is creating and experimenting with the Butcher Gang. Using them as a way to get revenge, I don't think they're born this way because their mutations are unique to them.

Why do the workers leave audio logs anyway? My personal theory is they might be aware of the never ending loop, and they leave audio logs hoping someone will find them and break the loop, saving them all.

I honestly think that Shawn ended up becoming Piper since we know that Shawn was one of the lead toy makers and was pretty aggressive and Piper is the first aggressive butcher gang member we come across and that Grant became Striker because of the audio recording sounding like muffled screaming and the fact that Striker’s mouth is sewn shut.

Bendy is not the only one who is soulless. A few of the butcher gang members, searchers, and maybe some of the Boris clones don't have souls.

I think it's more like Grant went crazy from trying to keep up with Joey's impossible expectations and rather than murdering someone, he got claimed by the ink or Joey started the corruption process on Grant to silence him. And I don't know when exactly the Butcher Gang were created, but I think the timeline for that may be: Searchers-> Lost Ones+ Sammy Lawrence -> then the Butcher Gang as a first attempt at toon characters with souls, albeit into twisted monsters -> Suzie Campbell as a first attempt at Alice Angel and possibly Thomas Connor as a first attempt at Boris against his will -> Allison Pendle into Allison Angel and the Boris clones. And if they were planning another go at Bendy, I'd imagine they'd pick Wally Franks since he kinda has the most personality. What do you think? Does anyone actually read my comments? :(

The way that Striker was experimented on is interesting. His mouth that contains his fangs is sewn up and his limbs look as if they were cut out of where they originally were (hence the massive gap in his torso) and arranged in an attempt to make him appear more human. It’s as if workers were afraid of Edgar and what he could do.

Yeah, I believed that the voice belonged to Grant Cohen too, because written all over the walls, ceiling, and floor of the room were numbers and calculations.

I think maybe he was the one that found bendy in the infirmary, because in a distorted voice before you hear the searcher sounds if you listen closely you can hear a distorted voice say *”back off.”* so maybe once he found bendy he was terrified and ran for the exit to tell everyone, but Bendy caught him on the way out and the audio is bendy strangling Grant and Grant scrambling and knocking over items in the room, just my theory tho

I forgot the unknown recording sounded like that and had me headphones in R.I.P. my ears

I imagine after Bendy, Joey didn't want more imperfect versions of the MAIN characters running around and possibly further ruining the studio's image to the public. I don't really see any other characters running around that are human like to try the machine on. So Joey decided to use the butcher gang to try to find a way to perfect the process. As for the plunger, fishing thing, and stuff, I don't know. Maybe someone was cruel enough to decide to butcher them up and experiment with them to see if a plunger made from ink would stick to them or not without help. Or maybe you're right and Joey was too cheap or something to try to make entire skeletons for them and threw what he found in. There was a 3rd suggestion but I forgot. Anyway, I guess we won't know til the new game comes out.

In the hallway where all the hands reach through to attack you, I always imagined it was people wanting an autograph or a handshake.

I honestly think that the first Theory was Susie Campbell transforming into one of the searchers in her first reborn. Cause after some other noises, You can hear a female voice ( Maybe female). I also think it is Linda, the girl who henry talked about in his Audio Log. I may not be correct but this is what I think. In chapter 3 or 4 Alice talked about borning twice, She said the first time she was recreated she was a wiggling,pussing inky slug. So maybe she killed the boris clones to recreate herself again, this time a "Angel". As for Linda Henry said he haven't seen Linda for days it could be because of Joey killing her in those days and recreated her, she might be one of the failed experiments turning into a lost one. Joey killed Alice/ Linda/ someone else in Grant's office .

The more i hear that unkown recording the more terrifing it becomes, just...sounds so full of pain and fear

When Chapter 4 came out I thought that the recording was Joey becoming Bendy because the person who was in pain sounded more like Joey, but your theory has convinced me to believe that Grant Cohen went crazy or became a searcher or lost one.

It kinda sounds like a struggle between Joey and Grant on the tape. Maybe just me. Or them going crazy as they’re being turned and smashing everything before being consumed by what they’ve become. Maybe in desperation and anger and helplessness. :(

While I do like what MatPat said about some of the gang dissolve while others (in Alice's morgue) don't, I do side with you on Bendy being the only soulless creation. And while I find your timeline pretty accurate: Searchers, Lost Ones, Sammy, Boris clones; it's interesting to think the Butcher Gang higher on the line.

MatPat pointed out that there at two sets of characters. Characters that wrote letters to Joey, and the ones that have coffins. Only the reanimated characters with souls in them lie on the ground. The ones that are without a soul fade into the ink. So some of the Butcher Gang members don't have souls, but some(Like in Chapter 3, when we collect the hearts) do have souls. We see Bendy dissolve, so he is without a soul, like some of the Butcher Gang members.

hey, I love your explaining and theories so, could you do one about the items in chapter one?

My theory as to why Bendy was created without a soul is because Joey couldn't give him one since not only did he NOT create the character, but never truly cared or had any emotion for those who worked around him. He only cared about success and having his dreams become a reality, but in trying to achieve so...he ended up losing his humanity and used his greed and controlling ways to corrupt and mis-treat everyone. If anything, everything that's gone wrong with all the characters and studio all goes back to Joey's actions.

The unknown recording could be Sammy Lawrence making sounds of pain after being attacked by ink bendy

Finally I got an answer to the mysterious audio log

I think Grant Cohen was the first victim to the ink, being "claimed" by it. Except it wasn't intentional by Joey, and more of a freak accident in his office possibly by a leak in one of the ink pipes leading to the big ink machine.

You know guy's, that theory about the butcher gang contain the human soul's inside of their inky bodies that reminds me of the apocalyptic movie "9" plus in movie after the robotic apocalypse and the end of the world and the human race, the only survivors are nine small rag doll like creatures that each of them have a portion of a man soul inside of them.
