Best Video on the internet today. Wow,!!! Thank God I came across your channel. I am earnestly expecting my PhD admission from the UofA.... My sister, this proof of funds is already giving me headache. I think from this video,. I was just scauting in my head, who to meet for the PofFunds. I don't want to use any company because I don't have money for percentages, I know a few of them and have met them before, but didn't know I could use a different person entirely. I hope this pattern works for me, since I intend coming to Canada with my two kids and hubby. Am in my early thirties though.

I'm going for undergrad, but my issues is that my parents had opened a dollar account for me and it's been active for over a year and monthly deposits are made into the account, please with that account who will I be stating as my sponsor and will that account affect my chances if the visa approval negatively (i have enough money there to take me through 4years if study including living expenses and i used university of Waterloo school fee to calculate the 4years tuition)... Hi Mara, thanks for all you do. Please, I’d like clarification on something. I want to upload my proof of funds document right now but I’m still not fully convinced that I have everything in place. For starters, for my visa approval, I’m required to have above 60000 CAD which is about 34 million naira now. I have 20 million naira, but my sponsor’s account is an active transactional account. My sponsor is my mom and her business brings in large sums which she in turn uses for other business ventures so the full amount isn’t readily available, but she has a substantial amount in her RSA account and some landed properties as well. Seeing the history of the account over the years with such heavy transactions, will that help or just not having the full amount readily accessible is a major roadblock?

If the host is solely responsible for your visit then they should provide POF. If not you should. As a visitor you need to be clear on your intentions to go back to your home country after the business visit. Attaching proof of business ownership and activities is key for this type of visa.

Pls may I no if the immigration officer is aware that some schools don't necessarily need to pay tuition deposit before processing their Visa Applications but must have to show in their statement of account. Also, "saying u did your Payslip yourself, does it mean u didn't proof your Tax payment? Pls let me no all these. Thanks

I mentioned that in this video. What till the end please 🙏. When you have made some payment to the school, you are free to minus whatever you paid from the total amount you are supposed to proof funds with. The immigration officer understands that perfectly. But make sure you write that in your SOP and provide the evidence of payment to the school.

They can’t give me their bank statement but they gave us the official award letter with our names, school, program and amount given. Please can I use this official award letter. Obviously, they can’t give you a bank statement as a government agency. However, if they could support the scholarship letter with supporting letter addressed to the Canadian high commissioner that may suffice.

Put your ring light above your head for better quality lighting and avoid straining your eyes.

When you sell a land there should be an agreement signed by yourself and the buyer. So you need to present everything possible showing the hand was yours and it was sold to someone. I advice you present the certificate of ownership of the land, certificate of purchase and sale, and the means of payment by the person (ie assuming they gave you a cheque, submit the copy of it when uploading your documents)

Sure dear you can use loans to proof funds as long as you have documents to backup your claims. You can write your IELTS when you want as long as it is not past 2 years. After 2 years you can’t use it anymore. I wrote the academics IELTS.

It's tricky. They focus on inflow and outflow...They sometimes look at accounts as far back as 1 year. But basically 4 months good movement is all that's required at the time of submission.

Sure your husband can sponsor you with any number of accounts he wishes to as longer as their is a proper explanation where the money came from. If you have worked for a long time and you have also saved some money in your account sure you can also be your co-sponsor and also provide your own account statement. Hope this helps.

Hey 🤍, so first you need to be aware of the reasons you were denied. It is always stated why. That will help you approach your second application better. It is not rocket science how you will put it down okay. Just construct your SOP well and the section for financial support discuss the Mpower loan, how much it is worth and present the loan evidence to backup your claim. Also do not forget to mention how you will continue to pay your tuition when the loan finishes if it doesn’t cover your whole study years. Additionally, remember to tell the officer how you intend to pay back the loan and stuff. This is my opinion and what I will probably do.

The money is meant to be in your sponsor’s account except they are giving it to you as a gift. If so then it should be stated so.

Let say they don’t have visa before may 1 which is the resumption date for spring/summer UofR,will the admission be cancelled?

Thank you 🥰 🤗. If he is a businessman he needs to prove documents like CAC, Proof of business activity like receipts and invoices, ownership of business and all that. This is to show that he actually owns that business or those businesses as the case may be. If he is a salary earner, he needs to provide his paystub or payslip. Something to show what he earns really.

Mara please how many months POF of your uncle did you use. If one is using her personal account, will NSE accept 6months POF. What if one has paid their 1year tution for a 1year course, do I still need up to $30cad? For NSE

I mean black market price. The official rate is always cheaper. So if you use the black market rate it’s better because by the time they do their own calculations they will arrive at an amount lesser than what you already have which is good. Hope this make sense.

There is no generic answer to this. Whatever applies to you or whatever you have back home like family, properties, job etc

Must the whole money POF be in the account for 4month ie in the whole period of building the fund in the account or a part of it can be added just before submitting the application?

From what I know, the money must be in the account as at the time you print your account statement and probably put on your visa. But then, the account must have an active fund activity for a period not shorter than 4 months.
