Actually her point was valid. Myron claimed that since the beginning of civilization women needed to be virgins. He thinks civilization started 2000 years ago and is unique to Christianity and Abrahamic religions. Civilization is in fact twice that old. In Norse mythology, Thor and Co., there wasn’t as much care for virgins as other religions have. She made that point to show Myron that there are older civilizations that didn’t value it, morally, as much as Christians and Muslims. As silly as Norse mythology sounds to us now, it was the truth at that time.

They are really good at it, as it is a game of persuasion, not necessarily the best argument., but they leave those jobs because of the stress levels. The key to fight it is being highly persuasive yourself.

What the lawyer isn't understanding is that, in the west, feminism has influenced the standards of women AND men. If women as a collective, (due to feminism) decide they aren't going to act in a traditional way, then men over time are going to adapt to that. If nothing else in order to get sex. If generations of western men are being born and raised by women in a society that veers away from traditionalism, than a statistically increasing amount of men are going to say they prefer non-traditional women ESPECIALLY when you consider the incentive of sex. It's not that these men don't prefer traditional women, they're simply being conditioned away from it. The men that reject that conditioning, either don't get married, or they go to other countries to find traditional women. These men are colloquially known as "passport bros." This is part of why the marriage rates are plummeting. This is why the studies she's referencing are useless. The data is already poisoned. The men aren't going to chose an option they don't even think is available to them, even if they prefer it. Also her arguing that questioning her data isn't science/critical thinking is ridiculous. Mass peer reviewing of experiments and testing findings is one of the most important aspects of science. And articulating the context around her studies and considering how it can lead to an erroneous conclusion is a quintessential example of applying critical thinking.
