Another thing too, it only takes about 6 months to a year to really know someone on a personal level. It takes about a few years to know if you want to marry someone. I love how they say, "I hear where you're coming from", and immediately follow with "but".

You don't need 8 years. What you need to find out is how that person reacts when life sheets on them. Especially if they've lived life the 'right' way. The death of a close relative or friend. Or the loss of income. Anything that greatly changes their beliefs of love and/or life. Regardless of how 'perfect' their life might seem, you will see the real person come out during these times. It usually takes anywhere from 6 months to 2 years.

Woman has a great relationship and these guys are super jealous and trying to tear it apart. This is what’s wrong with these “advice” podcasts. These guys have no relationship experience and no idea of reality. Been married 10 years, to my soul mate, and we go out and enjoy our friends without each other all the time. It’s healthy.
