Prong's best album. PERIOD. It was WAY, WAY ahead of its time. The general mindless public is never prepared for innovative pioneering. The thing that always blows me away about Prong is that there is A LOT of subtleties buried down in the “90’s guitar fuzz”. You have to have decent cans or speakers to hear it (and maybe twiddle EQ settings a bit), But it keeps their recordings interesting and a step ahead of their contemporaries. It’s details that showed they cared and had a higher degree of musicianship and appreciation than others.

@TheMonkeyMedicine8 жыл бұрын
This song is so fucking epic. How on earth does it get even a thought of a dislike??? I always love the alternative droning guitar chords in the back ground. Well before Linken Park and Food Fighters ( and even Kings of Leon) used it to define their sound. In fact, they should give credit to this band because in part, they borrowed their guitar sound. I especially love that their lyrics are thoughtful and provoking. Not like the death and gloom idiot lyrics of Metallica and most of the other hard bands of that era.
@XLHeavyD999

Double edged sword. The popular Metallica bands now suck but the less popular bands like Prong and Exodus stay hungry and deliver the goods. That's why I actually buy physical new copies of their music in my meager way of support since they never come to my town.
@SAF4EVER

As a Prong fan, I can admit that a lot of their songs sound too similar to each other. Thats why they aren't that popular. Like AC/DC, every song has similar sound and are simplistic. I love Prong though.

Loved jamming this song in my car during high school in the 90s
Tack! Tak! Thanks! Danke! Kössönum! Merci! You know what Tommy!
There's no kindness to waist! Yeah these guys are legit. I was forced, bound and compelled to rock this song out....😎
At 58 I'm still loving this s*** out of this band and when I watched this video for some reason Tommy reminds me an awful lot of Keith Caputo before he became Mina am I the only one that sees that Either way both prong and Life of agony are still up in my top ten. 🤯🤯😷🤓

I discovered this song shortly after moving out on my own and discovering just how rude of an awakening adult life is. I felt that!!!
About to go see Prong live. Had to get pumped here before the show.
2021, the year of the rude awakening
Such an awesome song from the great period of the 90's! I wish Prong would get more credit they deserve it!
I Love this Band!! I listen to them all of the Time and Share them on Facebook and And Twitter!!!~
All these great comments and respect. Head scratcher why they didn't sell more records.
Have followed prong from the peel sessions til recent
can't believe I missed that band in the 90's?
This song is so fucking epic. How on earth does it get even a thought of a dislike??? I always love the alternative droning guitar chords in the back ground. Well before Linken Park and Food Fighters ( and even Kings of Leon) used it to define their sound. In fact, they should give credit to this band because in part, they borrowed their guitar sound. I especially love that their lyrics are thoughtful and provoking. Not like the death and gloom idiot lyrics of Metallica and most of the other hard bands of that era.

+TheMonkeyMedicine Yep love 99% of their music, I have seen them live in the town where I live. One night I wont forget. Was standing next to some punkers in the front of the stage had to run for my life :)

Indeed. There is a lot to listen to production wise as well. I do know the late Wayne Static openly cited Prong as an influence and it is obvious in Static X earlier work.

This is a cool song. But I'll never have anything bad to say about Metallica, the best band of all time!

lyrically, they pale in comparison to, say, Cannibal Corpse. Striped, Raped, Strangled...bitch!!

Metallica are establishment posers who party with the Pelosis. Because they are all so oppressed by "the system". I'm not even kidding.
ahhhh....... this song brings me back to the good ol' days.......
found this cd back in 98 at flea market! Obsessed ever since!

same thing here man....bought it at a flea market back in around 97-98. Its one of the few CDs that has survived many moves since....
Greetings to Tommy Victor et al from Costa Rica!
great voice,incredible riffs,I still can't understand why they aren't over the top metal bands...

Double edged sword. The popular Metallica bands now suck but the less popular bands like Prong and Exodus stay hungry and deliver the goods. That's why I actually buy physical new copies of their music in my meager way of support since they never come to my town.

As a Prong fan, I can admit that a lot of their songs sound too similar to each other. Thats why they aren't that popular. Like AC/DC, every song has similar sound and are simplistic. I love Prong though.

SAF4EVER they aren't all simplistic. Some of their newer stuff is pretty conplex I would say

Rock on from a UK fan
I'm really excited, I'm going see them tomrrow as a Warmup for Life of Agony.
I had the extended CD as a kid with interactive CD ROM, seemed so cool at the time! I think it had a few music videos and some photos and stuff on it in a funky UI, wish I could see it again but I imagine it looks crude af now haha. Still effing love this album!
Very underrated, Prong Forever

I saw what you did there, 5 years later.
I just saw them live last week (June 2016), and I think this is the "slow" song they played that blew my mind. Such a sick groove.

Absolutely love Prong, seen them live twice. They fucking kicked ass. My friend and I hung out with Tommy before his set. I even bought him a beer! 🍺 One of the coolest down to earth guys in metal!
