I saw a great idea on another build where they mounted Solar screens on the back door - when the roof is loaded. They would need to leave the doors open on the back of the van - maybe get a bug screen too. I love the work you did on this van beautiful job - congrats by any chance are/were you a boat builder?

I've got half a dozen drawings of making a Murphy bed in my bus. I like the dropdown table and the winch a lot. Very efficient and cozy place. You've truly maximized your space. Excellent work

I have an idea for you, maybe you can discuss with your builder at some point, if he/she is able to build a system to capture rain water on the roof of your van, you'll have access to a lot more water inide the van (potentially). Just a thought. Maybe add the shower back in the van too. Actually, what I think you really need is one of thos box rrucks so you have more square footage to add the things you need, you know like one of those old old u-haul trucks . Anyway, just a thought. :)

Please DO TELL about high tech wifi set up for those of us that only have hotspot (and cell coverage) to get wifi/work

If I were doing a build, I'd have an adjustable Twin XL bed - with wedge pillows to use it as a couch otherwise. I don't know why van lifers feel the need to take up half the space just for sleeping.

How long is your van?

I would have gone with the shower, because no matter what is in that upper cabinet,it can be dispersed to other areas. If you never leave the city, ok,but there are no gyms where most people take their vans.

I wish they would include how much they paid for this stuff.

Id have gone for the shower option but iv been to some disgusting public bathroom/showers wen camping in my far gone teens so im a bit biasd against them.

All of the "um" is excruciating to listen to. Slow down if needed and give your brain time to process what is being said, and be confident. 😊
