I have the trim iron by monokote. It only has a high low switch and low didn't seem hot enough and high is too hot. I like the idea of this one with the knob. I'll have to get one. Thanks for the review. Mike

That was an interesting review Mark. I have had one of those trim irons for some time and was hoping it would perform as per your demonstration but I find mine struggles to get the shoe sufficiently hot to fully stick down the covering. Perhaps I need to give it another attempt.
