I recommend this to all of my boating customers. I reupholster boat cushions.

Also a homemade greenhouse structure is more likely to be made with pvc pipe. The pvc is the main cause of degraded plastic covering. Pvc releases chlorine which eats away at the cover. Protecting it from the outside won't help, you need to put a barrier between the pipe and the covering.

303 is best sprayed on so it sits and has a chance to bind (in my experience) versus simply being wiped on and off. It can last a full season with a good treatment (use it on tires to protect the rubber)

I personally wouldn’t be spraying applying chemicals in my garden. Most of these have replacement covers for a fraction of the cost. Actually I bought just that and did cattle panels so no flimsy conduit structure. But he is 100% correct on make sure cover being secured tight is the key to it not caving in. I got biggest kick from hot tub, genius.

I love your videos and wonder if you have any suggestions for this. I bought a similar greenhouse to yours in 2020. One problem: the window netting disintegrated and now the windows can’t close properly with the Velcro. I think the netting held the shape. How do I fix it? Any diy suggestions? Basically every window has the issue. My windows are much bigger than yours. Maybe they changed the design recently.

Didn't have any of this to hand so used some old AutoGlym plastic and rubber care spray I've had for a while that I've never used on the car...

What about growing in the summer. I live in the Carribbean.

I have a double layer uv plastic on my greenhouse with a blower separating the two. I clean the inside plastic of my greenhouse once a year.

I wanted to use a green house to grow crops in summer time in AZ. Evaporate cools so I am out of the sun a can spend more time planting and growing. Is this not a good idea?

no........you want to wipe it on and off. It seals the micro fractures in the plastic, to reseal it. People use it for hang gliders and airplanes. See how he is wiping it away and lot leaving it on.......you only want a thin application, that is evenly spread out.

You will need to reinforce with extra string across the top, like 550 cord with higher quality tent stakes. You could also do some extra stakes & cord on the interior to keep it from shifting as much. Oh, and you can also get these greenhouses on eBay - TONS of options!

Check with your city, as every city is different. What is legal in one, might ask for a permit in the other.

i bought a similar greenhouse. i didnt treat the plastic at all, and it made it like 6 months before is was destroyed

Would this help to spray garden weed fabric? Or on the fabric to protect plants from animals and insects? Or should it not come in direct contact with food?

It is good for any petroleum based material. Keeps plastic kayaks from whitening in the sun, vinyl cushions from drying and cracking, and a host of other uses. It is THE BOMB. I don't know about using in direct contact with growing food. It states on the bottle, "eye and potential skin irritant. Do not use on unfinished leather, fabrics (canvas), flooring, clear plastic, guage panels or headlights."

After reading the safety data sheet, I would not have it come into contact with food, nor under a growing medium. Data sheet states, "wash thoroughly with soap and water after handling and before eating, drinking, or using tobacco."
