Not the typical “project” apartment. Very nice and looks well lived in and full of love. I lived in low income housing for many years myself previously and was very was very grateful for the opportunity. TFS❤

They are nice. If you saw the ones out here in Dallas you would really like these. They look like actual town homes on the inside and outside.

I retired from nursing after 45 years and my favorite nursing was with all the children in special education classroom. I loved each and everyone of them. They are the smartest and sweetest ! I love your apartment too! You seem like a very good Mother. My husbands family grew up in Harlem, NY and they lived in the projects my Mother in Laws apartment was very nice! I lived in low income housing in Pennsylvania in the early 1980’s when my daughters were toddlers. I loved it there I always felt safe even though you always have to be on alert no matter what. Your home is beautiful! Keep loving your home and your family will definitely benefit from love. ❤ I subscribed to your channel because I love to see young people doing their best in this life.

I am also a mother with an autistic son he is 21 nonverbal. It’s super hard. I love your channel and your realness . Keep up the great job. Your home is beautiful. I wish I could get on some sort of housing assistance but it’s super hard where I’m at

Very nice! Is this considered the projects or income based housing? Where I'm from in NY, the projects are tall buildings with alot of apartments. Something like this would be considered a low income townhouse & would be in a smaller complex than the projects. After watching videos like this, I'm realizing how different income based housing of any sort is so different from state to state.

My Mother in law said she ate cornstarch when she was pregnant. A lot of people have pica. I would chew on paper and ate it when I was younger. I know it sounds weird but hey we don’t really care who likes it🤣

I like your apartment , it looks bigger than a project apartment , though , and the rooms look bigger than they appear to be , or my eyes are weird . And to all of you people who may be judging about her " cleanliness " maybe hasn't had a child or worked with children with autism , but , it's hard to work with special needs children and the angels ( which is what I call children ) need more care and supervision than an " average " child does , ; I'm autistic and it was hard growing up , but , I graduated high school with honors , went to college , and now works as a receptionist / office manager in a dentist's office . Well , anyway , the apartment looks very nice and your daughter is adorable .

yes it's harder my soon to be 5 year old has severe autism, adhd, with other disabilities I'm raising her solo no help looking to find a way to work no one to watch her smh I just got my voucher for housing we went homeless last year it's been tough

Your apartment is very nice! Nothing like the ones in my hometown of NC! The main thing is safety and its not safe for the kids in my hometown! Its sad because people that are in low income apartments, mostly single mothers, just want a home to raise their kids! I feel bad for them! Kids cant play or ride bikes outside with their friends. Also, have you thought about setting up a post office so subscribers ( if they wanted) could send you and your daughter cards, letters, clothes, toys, ect.?

That's huge! Much bigger than the project I spent some of my teen years in. We had strict restrictions on the apartment size you could get based on family size. And a well intended suggestion: get those stairs completely cleared off. Your stairs are a vital exit if there is a fire and seconds count! It's too easy to trip on cluttered stairs, especially if it's dark/smoky. I'm from the inner city and fires were incessant.

I don't get y you got a kettle, when u can just use the kerig for hot water, just don't add a pod.

I live in a small state in the northeastern area.

Project apartments are nice and spacious. The people are the problem. If you're a clean, organized person, you will feel like you live in a co-op apartment.

Nice apartment but you need to teach your children how to take care of others' property. Those blinds are ridiculous. Hope that you do better with housekeeping. No offense, just observing.😊 enjoyed the tour.😊

These were built in 2016 specifically for Section 8 & income based families. That’s why they look more modern.

I don’t know if you’ve researched the connection between heavy metals and autism, but your daughter may benefit from a heavy metal detox. And if you vaccinate, you will want to research and reconsider that decision as well.

Yes sadly she was vaccinated up until she turned one & received the autism diagnosis. She does not receive vaccines anymore

Who started these section 8 housing tours❓️Nobody wants to know what they have or where they bought their kids toys from or what they have in their storage cupboards ffs🤦🏾‍♂️🤦🏾‍♀️❓️People just wanna see the layouts and how the tenants dress them then what they pay in Rental Costs how many people live in them and the Amenities cl9se by. With the housing crisis in the country the ungrateful tenants need to shutup talking about only going to live in these houses temporarily when they know this is as good as it gets unless by some miracle they make it big to move on...which in most cases is a joke☝🏾💯

Please don't keep cleaning products in the same place you store food. Also, invest in storage containers for the closets. Clutter screams low-income and makes a home look very messy. I hope you didn't eat cornstarch or drink alcohol during your pregnancy, it is not healthy for the unborn child. You need help in dealing with the Pica. Put the alcohol away when creating videos. Just being helpful, not criticizing.

My kids tend to throw things at the tv that’s why it’s high & my apartment is very clean, it’s just cluttered because we live fully in our home. I allow my children to be comfortable and do actually child-like things in their place of comfort. ☺️
