Project in the Cargo Hold (Day in the Life) VLOG
In this episode I just take you along as I complete a project which took me to the cargo hold of the ship. There was an air line that goes to a valve that was in the open and easy to hit as people walk by so I fabricated and installed a shield to protect it from ever being damaged. Just a random job onboard so hope you enjoy this short video....

Top class job Jeff, working in tricky conditions and designing it yourself could not have been easy, but you managed it perfectly. Pity there’s was no tea left ! Love your vids Jeff keep them coming. Best wishes from Liverpool, England 🇬🇧🇺🇸👍

Excellent work there Jeff. I miss these kinds of videos so this one is an extra treat! Thanks for taking the time to bring us along. If you ever get to make more in depth maintenance and fabrication videos again that would be great!

Yes those are my favorite ones to make. As I am sure you know I am not able to do it every job because it would be impossible but I will make more soon 100% for sure.

@@JeffOnboard that's definitely not it. You'd be surprised how many of us really enjoy seeing what exactly you do. You wouldn't have any subs if we didn't enjoy it. I definitely subbed because you were showing your odd jobs. Look at yacht captain as an example. People loved his jobs, not just showing off. Don't you stop this stuff. You'll catch that break soon.
Thanks. I like your "doing work" videos, hope to see more.

Another great video Jeff. I really enjoy the ending when you show the weather and ocean conditions. Please do that for 3 or 4 minutes. KZread starts putting those other videos they want you to watch over top of your ending almost as soon as it starts, covering up everything you're trying to show us. Good video though, enjoyed it.

It is always an interesting adventure but just like any Job there are pros and cons some things can be frustrating but other things are very rewarding...
Nice job Jeff! I have to tell you I’ve borrowed your phrase when I do projects around the house: “we’ll call that good”. Hahaha. Take care and thanks.

Like I said to one of the other people this was like a primer coat that you saw me apply later on there was going to be yellow... I just did not show that in the video

Sorry I jumped the shark.
What is all the clanging noise down there? Normal? All the time? Nice job. 👍

Probably because the ship was rolling a lot
Why not paint the guard yellow or orange so it catches peoples' attention better and they don't bang into it?
@JeffOnboard
Жыл бұрын
That was the plan...The paint i used was actually primer...Yellow was later.
Nice video, what did you put under the legs ? I worked a job where a boring day was something to look forward to, no Drama lol.

Did you ride out the Va Beach tornado Jeff?
@JeffOnboard

Yes I did...The wind was really big for a short time and I had no idea that was why, but the bad area was more the north part in Virginia Beach. My neighborhood was fine thank God.
Do you ever get sea sick during rough weather ?

Thankfully, no.
Why would you not re route the air line so it is looping on the back side instead of in the front. .
