I like the choice of VR1 Racing oil, an ace local guy mech here on Maui suggested I run it 10 years ago and have been using it since, but I run straight 60 weight. 03 FXD 95 in. Mondello heads DarkHorse crank, Wood TG8 gear drive cams, dynatech ign, Blah blah blah, still run the rejetted CV carb, Bassani 2 into 1 stain;ess exhaust and it runs great.

Unless you do a big bore, the stock carb "jetted" will work as well. No added space= no extra benefit.

When flowing through a constricted area of a pipe, a fluid’s velocity increases and its static pressure decreases. This principle is known as the Venturi effect. What Is the Venturi Effect? Skyscrapers are a common sight in any large city. A constant velocity carburetor is altitude compensating for the fuel/air mixture. Why they run them on Rotax 912 ULS aircraft engines that go up and down in altitude. Does the Mikuni have that feature too?
