You actually would be correct, transmitter is when you are transmitting. So I do believe I messed up that part.

dont forget to say what information you have upon initial contact

That would be on Takeoff clearance. For example: "maintain runway heading" would be something that would be said by ATC, and once you contact then on initial flight level, they would give you more information.

@@commandobrando77That's not what i meant, for example here: "United 2232 at stand 207, with information Kilo, Requesting IFR clearance to Gran Canaria". But also when entering a new airspace: "United 2232 with you FL60 inbound ZENITH, for the ZENITH4C arrival, with information Alpha"

@@RealPyro88 this is strictly ifr clearance, and I only did direct because it’s easier for newer people and won’t really be used much

@@commandobrando77 Saying what atis information you have is ALWAYS required when reading out either IFR or VFR, it's got nothing to do with navigation. Most people here don't and it's a pity, it does not give me confidence people actually read the atises that we post...
