PROJECT BRUTALITY 3.0 DARK DOOM HD - The Forest of Horrors

PROJECT BRUTALITY 3.0 and Tenebris Silva for DOOM II Hell On Earth by Kan3 on Man And A Half Difficulty level, Chaotic Random Spawn Preset. Project Brutality 3.0 is an upcoming version of one of the best available mods for the classic Doom - expect a lot of fun when playing it. Please note that the Project Brutality 3.0 in its current state is still Work In Progress, so bugs are to be expected, together with crashes to desktop (same with addons, they are not 100% always compatible and actual). Tenebris Silva is a single map WAD where we have to explore the dark caves, haunted forest and then completely forgotten settlement in the middle of it, this is more a slow oriented map with CUSTOM weapons and monsters. The map does not have a lot of stuff for you to pick up but there is an overall amount of 10 secrets for you to pick up, pretty much all of them are mandatory because backpacks, berserk packs and armors are always needed. Map is really similar to one of the older maps from the same creator coming from his Declaring New Apocalypse mappack, but this level is greatly expanded giving way more places for you to explore before Cathedral. The only major problem at the beginning might be with the ammunition because there are lots of enemies at the beginning, but thankfully there is also a secret nearby where you can simply grab a backpack with ammo. This level surely loves to put a pressure on you, lots of encounter are the traps waiting for you together with custom monsters like skulls, undead hounds, melee Revenants or blind Pinkies waiting. When you begin the level, immediately turn back and you will a big pool of lava in front of you - to the right there is a Chainsaw to pick up while behind an alcove there is a first secret - Marine or Invisibility sphere. You are going then to explore the really dark cave full of monsters inside, this is a quite tricky part because it's full of the sniping Chaingunners or Shotgun zombies, you might also find the Barons, Mancubi and Revenants. Once you leave the cave there is a short waterfall leading to the Haunted Forest where you are going to meet the Undead Hounds, these are really fast melee enemies that are going to bite you without mercy. At the end of the forest, a small settlement with few buildings is waiting for you to find a final key before an exit to the Cathedral...

I honestly like our little Marine buddy through this little adventure.

Killing demons is a challenge. keeping your marine buddy alive is a whole other level

tight , yet sublime envisionments both in physical space , sound , and ambiance and of course ,classic chunky project brutality just gets better paired with a resource that broadens the demon variation tree while still ensuring each one both have advantages to be encountered alone vs as part of a group , after all even a imp can have a role to be sent alone.. how many a doom slayer have wasted a rocket they wanted later because they presumed ...imps always comes in packs ;) hmm ,though i hoppe a year later the bug with imps freezing in growling pose rather then being a corpse no longer is present :/

The Latin title of this level is kinda wrong: If the author wants to say "Forest of Darkness", it should be "Tenebræ Silva" (not Tenebris Silva which will translate as Forest by Darknesses).
Can this be played coop lan or online??
