MY SON BOUGHT A HOUSE ABOUT THREE MONTHS AGO. I FOUND THEM SO NICE USED FURNITURE. IT DON'T HAVE ANY BED BUG ON IT. YOU DO HAVE TO BECAREFUL WHO YOU GET FROM. HE DON'T WANT TO BE IN DEBT. I HAVE MANY USE PIECES IN MY HOME.

You can use extenable spring rods and curtains to cover each closet. Your apartment is really nice. Keep your head up and stag strong!

Cute little diy project for your closets... I hate closet doors so I took mines off and bought some extendable rods that don't require any nails in the wall to put up, and I attached curtains to them so they are the replacement for closet doors. Absolutely love having the option of being able to change the curtains out to different colors and change the vibe in every room as much as I want

Oouuu I’d love to have a washer and dryer inside my place. That kitchen is beautiful! The built in microwave I also love!

Very nice place. The washer and dryer in the unit is fantastic. Ice maker is key! There are places that donate furniture and it’s clean too. Best wishes.

You can go to a dollar store and get a shower curtain and rod. Hang it where a door should be for the closet. I had to do the same in a house that had all open closets. Looks much better! 💜

You is very blessed. We all struggle and do what we can to live. No matter what, God got you. I love your apt. It looks better than a lot of other gov housing. Don't worry about nothing and be happy and proud. I know some ppl might think it's crazy to be proud of being in the projects, but it sure is better than being in the streets. Home is what you make it and with that being said you keep your head up cause God is not finish with you. I don't feel sorry for you. I feel proud of you. You doing what you have to do to make sure you provide for your kids and that is being responsible. Be happy, be great full and continue to reach whatever goal you set for yourself. I love your video, it's so real. I'm subscribing.

Go for it! Its a great start to help you get established until you reach your next milestone. Living in a low income apartment has helped me out a lot, I am able to focus on other goals I have set to achieve while not having to stress about expensive rent every month especially in these days.

I do like the kitchen , though, and the ice maker's cool , too , it's really cute , though .

Low income housing may not be in the best area but we sure do get a nicer way of living. I would love that washing machine. I made my livingroom my master bedroom. You have the best kitchen.

Continue to trust God’s plans for you!!! Your apartment is lovely. It looks clean and warm which is very important. I remember my first apartment was no where near as nice. All of my furniture came from Goodwill. It was safe, clean and mine!!! I did not care what others thought because like you, I knew it was temporary. Was there about 2 years. Was very frugal and save enough for a down payment on my first home. Now living in my 5th home and with God’s blessing mortgage free. Start working on getting your credit rating up. There are agencies like Habitat For Humanity and The Lenders Consortium that will assist you with budgeting and getting your finances in order to help you to become a home owner. Keep reading your Bible and doing what God reveals for you to do!!! Be blessed and stay safe.

I thrift a lot and also DIY girl you gonna have so mch fun making your place cute on a budget. It helps you grow thick skin fr. Im currently moving out of a slummy based on income unit thats privately owned that i be trying to keep as cute as possible, and just got accepted for the actual housing authority unit ( 4 bdrm brand new neighborhood just built) and im so excited. Nicer living makes people can push people who never really knew what they could be looking forward to if we keep working and striving and finally can afford to move out into something non based on income in the future. they are examples of what you should want for your own self.

I love the way your home look, it's really nice and cozy. You are living in your truth and not trying to keep up with "the Joneses". My very first apartment was in The Nickerson Garden Housing Projects in Watts California, I was so blessed to be living on my on as a single young mother in 1991. I lived there until the good lord Jesus Christ blessed me to upgrade to a better living situation and God is going to do the same for you and your family as well.

Just thank God that you finally have a place to call home. Think about the people that don't have a place to call home. Some are residing in shelters, warming centers, sleeping outside, sleeping in a vehicle, sleeping inside of an abandoned building. You have a beautiful home by the way ❤

My grandparents would go thru furniture that ppl would throw away fix it up and take it to their apartment. Ironically enough it lasted them yrs. Furniture is deff a big expense.

You have a nice place. I don't know what city you live in but not many project apartments have stainless steel appliances, a balcony, and a washer and dryer. It's a nice place to get your finances in great shape even if it took five years as opposed to the one you spoke of. Anywho a word to the wise should be sufficient. Here are some more words. Some things aren't for social media. You're putting on blast that people are staying with you and about the room being for your daughter is being occupied by her aunt. Huh? I'm not sure if that's a good idea...I doubt it.

I betcha she will be more thn grateful, if you take her to onw of those NYCHA apartments, the same thing here in Boston, never can compare to what she have there, i live in one bedroom here in Boston Housing, and they are not even close to what she have in Jacksonville FLA!!

My beloved pet passed away recently ...the most loving kind anyone could have..i would of never ever put her in the cage...she was FAMILY

Oh no, my condolences! I only put him in the cage because he hadn’t been walked yet and although he’s potty trained, he struggles with letting me know when he has to go so he’ll use it inside. That’s something im still working with him on, he’s still a baby ❤️

Only chose to live here until I get back on my feet and I actually was in school but I took a step back from it. I plan to get back in school though and yes a house is definitely the goal! ❤️

If this is the projects/low income then i need to move there. We are paying market rent @$875 a month for a 2 bedroom and i dont not have a washer/dryer, dishwasher, black refrigerator with food in it lol, or electric stove. I guess it depends on where u live but u living better than me lol

Jah & Jahes love sista. You have a nice apartment and it's really spacious! I wish I had been able to get something like that in Miami after we lost our house in a foreclosure. But, they hadn't built project apartments that nice back then. Are you using Section 8 to pay for it? Or is it some other program? Why do you want to leave? Blessed love.

Thank you! No, I’m not on section 8 but I am on the income based program that is funded through HUD but when I initially moved in I was only receiving unemployment so my rent was 216 but once that ended my rent went to 0. I only want this opportunity to be a way for me to get back on my feet so that me and my family can get back financially stable and work towards getting a home that we can call ours and enjoy our privacy and freely do things as family that isn’t allowed when you live in a apartment community.
