Project 5AXO Ep24 - Citroen Saxo VTS Turbo - Front suspension & PAS installation

In this episode I bolt on all the front suspension, refit the steering rack, refit the pedal box and brake servo gubbins.
I also give you a good run through of what's needed to fit a BE4 gearbox.

    Wow another really informative vlog Sean, all your work looks better than factory fresh and is surely a Saxo enthusiasts wet dream😉😂🤣🤣. Interesting to see the configuration of the chassis stiffening bars that you've fitted, the standard set-up reminds me of a Mk1 Golf where the upgrade to them was a lower stress bar that linked the two forward body mounts together. You could buy solid bars or adjustable ones that you could add a bit of pre tensioning to. I helped a friend in college who was epic with fabrication make up an adjustable one with left/right hand threads. Dramatically changed the stiffness if the front end and improved cornering response. Keep up the great work 😉👍👍

    I am planning to do the same Be4R conversion on my 106 GTi( turbo) can you tell me the overall length (compressed and uncompressed) of the axles? Keep up the good work, I am looking forward to new videos on your channel

    @@SeanPendlebury just bought a vts with 70k on the clock, completely standard. I have yet to collect it. So going to have a look at your earlier videos for some pointers.

    With BE driveshafts, what about the wheel hubs?

    You'll need a specific BE hub. I covered this in the suspension video earlier on.
