Thanks for trying to help! Unfortunately, this didn’t work for me. After trying it about 5 times, I looked in the owners manual and the procedure was slightly different. When I followed that procedure it worked!

On my 2014 ats I had to add a step to make it work. After you turn the key 5 times, you have to press the start on the dash. All else is correct.

What if you dont have the old FOB? I only have the metal part, still will work?? with new FOB?

Idk how you guys arent tripping the anti theft. I cant even get the car to prompt the reprogram because of it. (Keyfob dead, battery is new. Pocket can still recognize dead key fob)

check you car owner manual if you have it. It should have instructions on how to program the key fob. They might differ slightly from the steps in this video

yup, that's what I did used the old key with the new fob. I bought the spare key but haven't carved out the copy.

Were did you order your key with the cadillac emblem?

Just tried that and it didn't work my car never wants to enter programming mode even after following one of the comments instruction that was pushing the start/off button or even acting as the sign/alarm have already appeared

@@humanbeing2794 which trim is your ATS? this is a Premium trim but if you have the owner manual it should have a section on how to do it. The instructions might differ slightly

So I assume this doesn’t work if I lost the key and don’t have the old one to use with the new one

I believe not, you need the fob to programm another one

Ong google tryna rip me off, it said only 2015 and up had a pocket transmitter

And my car broke. Won’t start on or anything. I started it from far away with the remote and now it won’t turn off. And it won’t stop trying to reprogram the key. I need help

do you have your car owner manual?? it should have a program key fob section on it. My car is the ATS Premium trim, for different trims the process might be a little different but instructions to programming the key fob should be included in your owners manual

@@Kandyce1978 oh no! do you have the owner manual?? A guy on here said his owner manual said something a little different and then he got it to work. Check the manual if available
