Program 2008 Malibu key fob
How to program a remote keyless entry fob for a 2008 Chevrolet Malibu. Hopefully this video helps save you big bucks from the dealership rates to program one of these fobs at approximately $75 a piece.
I searched several videos after I bought some remote fobs but their programming process did not work. I searched more and found this option and it DID work! The unit came with a programmer and one remote key fob. I bought the unit from ebay. Here is the link:

The programming instructions were printed on the back of the programming unit.
The description does read that it works for several other vehicle models as well. I bought a similar unit for my 2013 Chevrolet Silverado and on that package it stated that the PROGRAMMER UNIT can only be used a maximum of 3 times. I think this is just in case you make a mistake during the programming process.

Great video! Very simple, anyone can do. Just programmed 3 remotes for my daughter's 2009 Malibu. Took a mere 2 minutes at best!

Throw it away..My original need a new board so i bought complete new 1 on amazon for 68.00. New key fob with new board and programming
