Thank you so much. I promise not to disappoint. More content is coming.
When it came down to laying out the dollars, I decided on a good condition, used Pro-10 pack and ProHeads. The recessed head design of Profoto's current line of monolights leaves something to be desired across their full line of modifiers.

I do agree. The recessed head hurt the system from doing so much, from taking advantage of their Zelezoom, Magnum, and Narrowbean reflectors and usability in 3rd party Paras like broncolor. It would be perfect if they bring that to this line.
Loved the video, good job Ab!

Thank you so much for the feedback. Photography is the best job in the world, definitely keep shooting.
Boom! That's how you premiere a channel! As a pro, this is exactly the stuff I want to know about new studio gear. I'm a Bron shooter, but this thing looks really really good. Well done by those crazy Swedes 😎

@@AbSesayPhoto That would be super interesting! Those things are crazy expensive but everything else about them looks so good.... I really love the grid + battery option they offer. Pity I don't have enough kidneys to sell to afford one right now, lol.

You already know! Im excited to post more.
Thanks for the video. However, I would have liked something different from the successor to the D2. The increase in power from 500 to 750 Ws and from 1000 to 1250 Ws is not important to me. The D2 weighs less, which will have an immediate positive effect compared to the D3 - especially with large light shapers mounted on a boom. I like the large locking knob on the D2 better than the one on the D3, which seems to be slightly smaller. Especially with a large and heavy light shaper attached, the handling of the locking knob is very important! Of course, the modelling light is now LED, which will be cooler, but this is a positive change. The fact that the smallest setting range has been changed from 1.0 to 0.1 is good and to be welcomed, but irrelevant for me in my practice. Personally, I have never had a scenario with the D2 (500 Ws) where the 1.0 power setting was too much. Let's move on to the price, but what can I say, these are "professional" prices! What I would have really liked from the successor to the D2, however, would have been a free-standing flash tube, like the ProHeads. But as this is unfortunately not the case, I will not be buying a D3 in addition to my 4x D2 compact flash units, or replacing my D2 with D3 compact flash units.

I like all your points. I would say try the lock on the D3. I like the friction you get on the D2, but the D3 goes from relatively loose to completely rock solid; plus, it has a lot of grips; the size was a non-issue for me. No chance of heavy modifiers drifting. I am in 100% agreement if they had a "free-standing" flash tube, or what others may call no recessed, giving you 180 degrees of coverage, then I would instantly be sold. The modeling light was an overall huge improvement.

@@AbSesayPhoto As I said, I don't find the new D3 compact flashes that exciting! A change is out of the question for me. I also don't understand why Profoto doesn't offer an external flash bulb for such professional flashes, even though a Magnum reflector, a Zoom reflector and the other reflectors expect an external flash bulb, as they are designed for them! The same applies to the correct beauty dishes made of metal! The large reflex umbrellas and the larger softboxes are also illuminated much more evenly. As I said, I don't understand the path Profoto has been taking for years. Thank you

@@osangulon I hear you. I do want the external flash tube more than anything else.
Thank you so much for that video! The glass dome fits on the D3 same way as on the D2? See I`m right? Please go on with your Chanel!
