it can be because he's a world class violinist, he can identify the legit profiles easily. I was expecting this video to be the same as all those "pretend to be beginner, flex on incompetent teachers" stuffs, but it turned out really wholesome and gave these teachers some publicity.

Ray is a very good actor, and can do any accent, it seems! If he ever needs a break from the violin, he should go to Hollywood!

The falling-off-the-stage footage tho. O_O "I even fell off the stage and broke my violin." Imagine after saying that and then being like, "Now, i have a strad." Fiverr tho, $5 for 30min? $20 for 60 min? It's a steal. Though, I guess virtual lessons aren't always as good. I certainly started at $20 for a 60min group piano lesson when I was 5 or 6, but by the time I was doing grade 8 pr 9 RCM I was paying above $100 for one-on-one.

I'm mainly impressed by how well Ray does a Taiwanese accent, it's super accurate. Despite hearing it all my life from my parents I still can't pull it off. Would be super cool if next time you offered to accompany them in a piece for the remaining time in the lesson!

Like even with the crazy bow hold he had perfect bowing technique!!! And then they started flipping out about the way he was holding the bow I just can’t stop laughing 😆 Thus is the type of quarantine content I love to see!

I would love to see you do this again. 😂 It was not only hilarious, it showers much love and support on the teachers that offer lessons, like for violin, and make them available financially for everyone. They work so hard for such little pay and deserve all of the exposure and recognition we can shine upon them. 😊

Loved how they were honestly praising Hank technique even when Ray tried hard to make it sound bad. They are good teachers !
